Thanks for reading and finally understanding my reply. My business decision is too not give any of my business to a dealer that treats customers like this. That is life and my business decision.

I only said that about it being sold because others jumped on me and said all Si Civics were presold so nobody could drive one.

3995 over sticker for a Civic. I am surprised your dealership would charge over sticker (LOL). A sucker is born every minute.

Civic Si = Ford GT? Got any Honda Silver Spurs?

I am waiting on one Si and am promised to be able to purchase it for $300 under MSRP, and yes, this is the price before the 1.13% increase in civic prices taking effect! It better not be test driven by someone else with my $300 putting my name on it. I have yet to test drive it.

One Civic Si (black) arrived last night to Maroone Honda of Miami. I tried my best to negotiate under MSRP but it was impossible Here are the numbers:

MSRP $20,539.49
Dealer Fee $599.95
Battery/Tire Fee $6.50
Tax FL $1,268.76
TTL $160

TOTAL OTD $22,574

The dealer gave me "Free":

Tinted Windows
Floor Mats
Three Oil Changes 5K - 10K - 15K
Car Wash x 2 Months
Dealer Coupon Book (Services)

What do you think. Good or Bad deal

IMO no as you're paying $599 over MSRP including the dealer fee, but that's only me as the Si doesn't turn me on. The other figures you listed go to the state. Some will say that's an excellent price at this time since they're so hot with so many buyers.

The Si is one hot vehicle. And yours will be even hotter since it's black and in Miami. Good luck and let us know if you pull the trigger.

A fool (or sucker) is born every minute. Those who pay above sticker have more disposable income than intelligence. NO car is worth paying more than sticker price. And, I would certainly never patronize a dealer that plays that game.

This is, unfortunately, a somehwat "typical" problem with some Honda dealers. They've never experienced slow sales due to Honda's generally excellent products, so they choose to gouge inexperienced buyers. It's most unfortunate.

Please do not pay attention to this kind of messages. I bought an Acura TL on 2004 one month after the model became available. This is when this model was re-designed. It was an extremely hot car! (it still is). I went to a couple of dealers and they were telling the same stories. That buyers were bidding for the cars and they were being sold for 3000-4000 above MSRP. After visiting several dealers I ended up buying a TL for $1000 BELOW MSRP.

Don't let anybody treat you as a naive or fool.

You are right.

I did not mention that the window sticker was $24,919 and fifteen minutes after I arrived to handle the check there were four people bidding on the Si.

Only time will tell.
