Hi there! I went to a Honda dealership today and I really want to buy a 2012 Civic 2Dr Coupe LX in blue upgraded with leather seats and the dealer quoted me $21, 225. That's not including any dealer fees, tax, etc. I felt that it was quite high. Any advice? I'm currently thinking about just going for a 2011 Toyota Camry with leather seats for $17,000 (+ fees) because it seems a sweeter deal. Pro's/Con's or comparison of these two would be greatly appreciated! Or just any feedback on the price. Thanks guys!

I'm going tonight to pick up my 2012 EX-L with/Nav Sedan. I offered $22,958 + TTL and it was accepted. This is $1,207 below the Edmunds True Market Value so I feel like its a good deal. Is it?

I think that is a great price. The invoice should be around $22,300. You are very close to that number and that is an awesome place to be!

Did they ever fix the omission of not having a trunk opener on the key fob yet? This is the one thing I hate about my '06 LX...even my '03 Sentra GXE had this feature! It can't be that much more $ to include this feature on the whole Civic lineup I'd think. And did they really drop down to 15" steelies for 2012? I've got the 16" wheels and the car does drive very smoothly. Ditto on the wife's Mazda3. Both kids have the 15" wheels on their rides and am not a huge fan. But I thought I had seen where Honda did indeed drop down a size for 2012. Again, if they did, what could the reason be?

I offered 22,500, dealer came down to 22,691. I may be settling for the EX-L w/o Nav for 21,500. Still negotiating. Is that a good price, or can I go lower?

Hello, i am getting a OTD price of $19,210 for a 2012 civic lx sedan. I feel the doc fee is high and i have no idea what $29 sticker fee is. However, the dealer has a $750 finance dealer cash promotion going on right now. So, $19210 minus the $750 is $18,460 and I'm thinking i can try to get them to lower the doc fee to $100 or so and remove the $29 sticker fee which would knock off another $229. So, best case scenario is $18,460 - $229 = $18,231 OTD. Would that be a good deal? By the way, i am located in Connecticut/Massachusetts.
MSRP - $19,425
Bottom line price w/ destination fee- $17,655
Tax (6.25%)- $1,103
New plates - $125
Documentation fee- $298
Out the door price - $19,210
