Sounds great Ken.

Will the WiFi signal reach my laptop on the East Coast?

My purchasing dealer did a major remodel and is now a Subaru only dealer. I wonder if they installed WiFi or at least a LAN connection.

#281 of 327 Looking for alternative service point in east-central FL by veritasusa

I can't find any references to Subaru service in Florida in this forum.

I just bought a new Forester and haven't yet had any experience with the dealer's service (Bob Dance Imports in Longwood, FL - just North of Orlando - or South of Sanford, if anyone knows where THAT is *g*).

Bob Dance is over 40 miles away from my home and I sure would like to find someone more reliable than Jiffy Lube or the like to do the oil changes and other simple services closer to home - somewhere between Daytona Beach and Titusville would be nice.

There used to be a Subaru dealer about 10 miles north of me in New Smyrna Beach back in the early 1990s, but that place closed up years ago. After being used by several used car dealers, the place is now a Suzuki dealer.

Even the Subaru dealer that used to be down in Cocoa, FL would have been more convenient, even though it was as far away as Bob Dance, because I could have just dashed down I-95 instead of taking two-lane roads into the interior. The nearest Subaru dealer to my North is in Jacksonville, about 100 miles distant.

BTW - does anyone have anything to say about service at any of the three dealers in the Orlando area? One is just a few miles farther away from me than is Bob Dance and on the same highway..

I love Carlsen Subaru. I have taken two Subarus there for service in the last three years and have been nothing but delighted with the sales and service. I have written SOA several letters commending Carlsen. They have done much warranty work on my '01 Forester and never balked. The work was always done right the first time, on time, courteous, professional. Granted, I think I got a dink of a car that it had so much warranty work - either than or I'm anal. But they were perfect about fixing it no questions asked. I have to start actually PAYING for stuff soon or I'll feel guilty. But highly recommend these guys - they know what they are doing. I only wish they'd let me take my Honda there!

Kudos to Fitzgerald Subaru in MD for a nice open house yesterday, we got door prizes even for the kids. They fed us and had speakers talk all about the new Legacy.

Looking for a good Subaru Service Dept in Central/Southern NJ. We purchased our vehicle at Richard Lucas in Woodbridge, but that dealership sees a ton of Chevrolets, so Im not so sure they are the most well equipped to work on Subarus.

Any thoughts?

Much appreciated!

happy motoring

Flemington Subaru for you!

I've tried my share of dealers in this area and nobody comes close to their service. I'm in Northern Middlesex county and they're definitely worth the trip.

I'll second that opinion on Flemington. I make the trip from Staten Island, and have no complaints.

Out of curiousity, what did you get at Richard Lucas? I took a test drive there, and was told they are trying to build up their Subaru side of things.
