| My 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder has been sitting idle for almost two years. When I went to jump the battery, every time I connected the jumper cables the horn starts honking. From what I have read, I think it was the alarm sounding because the dead battery must have reset the alarm. So now I need to figure a way to turn off the alarm and jump start the car without sending all my condo neighbors into a tizzy. I tried to pull the horn fuse according to the manual, but that didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas? I can find no reference to the alarm in the manual. | |

Hi, I am complete noob when it comes to cars. I need your help in making a decision. I am a student looking for a car on a budget. I saw a 02 Eclipse GT Coupe 2dr with 107k miles for $4750. I am not sure if this is a good buy. My concern is I want a reliable car where I spend $$ only for regular maintenance(I had a Mazda protege before and I took good care of it). I would like to use this car mainly for commute to work which is about 42miles each way and hopefully use for another 2 years before I get a new car. My biggest question: is 107k miles a lot for an 02 eclipse and how many more miles can you expect for it to run with my usage? And typically how many miles do they run for before you get major issues with the car. I would appreciate your help and insight on this issue. Please feel free to mention any other issues that I need to be wary of before I make a purchase. Thanks for your help! G |

How do you get at to replace the 35W front fog light/lamp bulb on the 1993 Eclipse. The outside front of the lense has 3 Phillips head screws, two on one side and one on the other side. They are very difficult to try and remove and I worry I will strip the soft metal of the screw heads. I wanted to try from underneath or inside the engine compartment but there doesn't seem to be any access to the bulb. Also, anyone have a bulb number that I can look for? Thanks! Walt |

| Hey all! I have a 2000 Eclipse GT with 127k on it and its still going strong. No real major service done besides the standard 30k and 60k service. Car is still going strong. Love my Eclipse. Looking to drive 200k on it. Anybody out there driving an Eclipse with 200k? What's your mileage? | |
