I’m looking for instructions about how to replace my front marker light. Looking at the car, it looks like the headlight assembly has to be removed or a panel in the front wheel well. I’m not sure the best approach. If you have replaced a front marker light, please let me know the best approach. Thanks! |

The warrantly expired on our 2002 C230K, so today was the firtst time that I (rather than a dealership) changed the oil and filter. How does one reset the maintenance reminder counter?

| I have a 2005 C230 with 46,000 miles ... close to running out of warranty. Should I buy extended warranty? If yes, what coverage should I be looking for and what would it cost? I plan on keeping the car for 3 years more. I know that some of these warranty plans are pretty pricey and not sure if I'm being overcharged. Can anyone help? | |
| How do you get this trim off? I need to do a minor paint job and don't want to just mask over the trim. | |

Replying to: fsmmcsi (Jul 28, 2007 7:30 pm) The details are:- Turn ignition key to position 1 on the starter switch Push buttons on left hand side of steering wheel (the ones showing 2 rectangles overlapping) until trip meter showing miles and total miles appear. Then press arrows until service indicator appears. Then press reset button (located at left hand side of instrument cluster) for about 2 seconds. Then follow instructions, depending on which service interval was done. I hope it helps. I did it once. It took a few attempts to make it work.

I'm contemplating on buying 03 C230 K with 41700 miles worth $17988. Is this a worthy buy? It also has a one year extension warranty. With all the things I heard and read here on this post, I'm kind'a hesitant now to buy it and get either Lexus or Acura. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.

2003 C230 Kompressor with 65,000 miles . has a bearing noise coming from the from of engine. Growling sound at ideal gets better when engine is warm, at higher RPM can not hear it. is it the supercharged compressor going bad? car is fast and get 22 mpg around town, I'm burning regular gas. |
