Re: Can the drop down cup hold be intalled in the second row? [awindram] by ateixeira

If they are still in booster seats, I ended up getting booster seats and have slide-out cup holders on the sides. Each side fits one cup and/or one juice box, so each booster adds 4 cup holders.

To be honest they use them as a catch all for small toys, but it also happens to hold cups when we need it.

Please be a littl more specific...I too want aftermarket fog lights for my Sienna LE. Where on the front would they be located ? Meanwhile the left light 'lever' is where the switch is it just has to be in LOW beam then adjust My initial price form Lipton Toyota Ft. Lauderdale is $182.00 each light + 134. for switch + 40 Relay not counting so-called Labor. Does anyone else think this price is "inflated"

alarm recommendations? by hcoog

I have a 2008 Sienna LE with the standard engine immobilizer, but no other alarm system. I am debating whether to have the Toyota dealer install the VIP alarm system (at a cost of approximately $500) or have an aftermarket one installed at an electronics store. Has anyone had the VIP system installed after purchasing the van? What is your opinion of the system? Was it worth the price paid? Does anyone have any aftermarket recommendations (Viper, Silencer, etc.)? Any opinions appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if the center folding tray is standard or available as an accessory in the XLE model. What is its price? Can it be installed in the front or middle seats?

The CE and LE come with those. I think the XLE gets the full center console.

I may be willing to swap with you, do you have a gray interior?

We never fold it down, so I'd rather have the extra storage.

So, wanna trade? It would be win-win.

Adding a Front Rack to the Sienna? by flyingdude

I'm considering the purchase of a Sienna XLE and it will be used on an occasional basis to transport a hang glider. As a consequence, I'd like to add some type of front rack to van, but like most vehicles these days, the front bumpers are mostly plastic and not suitable for this purpose. I was thinking about having something made that would attach underneath the front of the van and ideally, it would be removable without tools. I've seen people tow vans behind motor-homes so they must make some type of front attachment for this type of operation and that might work for a front rack system.

Does anyone have any suggestions along these lines and/or know of any aftermarket add-ons that might work for me? Thanks in advance for any input you can offer.

Aftermarket Sienna Tail Lights by ourohiofamily

We are considering purchasing a '04 or 05' XLE Ltd AWD. My wife is still wanting for the minvan to appear stylish and we have noted the Lexus's RX 330's CLEAR TAIL LIGHTS and want to see if anyone knows if/where these are available for the Sienna. She likes the Silver Pearl but doesn't care for the way that the red tail lights look. Also, any other aftermarket pieces that anyone can recommend that make this more of a one-of-a-kind vehicle?

Is the Toyota VIP Remote Start available on the Sienna by akin

I ordered a 2008 Sienna Limited and also requested the dealer add Toyota VIP Remote Start. The only reason I asked for this option was due to its ability to be activated from your Toyota Key FOB. I went to pickup the van last night and discovered the dealer installed an aftermarket unit. I told him I did want the aftermarket remote start and he started searching for the Toyota VIP Remote Start. But despite looking through all Toyota databases and websites he could not locate a part number. He does not think this is available on the Sienna.

Has anyone had the Toyota VIP Remote Start installed on a Sienna and are you able to operate it through the vehicles Key FOB?

I definitely do not want to carry around two sets of remotes.

I am trying to get a remote start installed on my 08 Sienna limited, and the local dealers tell me there is no Toyota part available, they will get a local shop to do the work, and install an after market product. Any thoughts on what would be a reasonable price to pay? The dealer is quoting $425? I have never purchased such products or service, so I am new to all this.

Thanks for your input.

Hi Friends,

I recently purchased 08 XLE, package 3, When i first spoke to sales rep, she said it has auto dimming mirror, and when i went there to negotiate, came to know that it doesnt have it, sales rep said, she could add that for an xtra 200 bucks, went a head and agreed with it, since they could not install on the same day, they asked me to come on saturday, and one fine saturday, when i took my van to service center, they said, XLE is not pre-wired for auto dimming mirror, and they can only do after market. i aksed them to fit mirror even after market, expecting that they bare all the cost, since it is their mistake.

and more over i came to know that it doesnt have DRL(day time running lights) when the sticker shows that it has. Please suggest.. how do i negotiate with these guys,

Help is much appreciated.

Thanks
