I believe you can get a LE 7 with package 7. Check with some other dealers. The issue comes down to wait time, many people will not wait 3-4 months for the product they want. Most dealers want to sell just what they have or is most available. There are some alternatives to drop down DVD screens. Among the many choices are small portable ones, larger portables that hang from head rests or even head rest mounted screens like those from visualogic. Putting one head rest screen in on the passenger seat can be seen by all rear passengers and they don't have to crane their necks to see it. I bought an inexpensive DVD player at Target and 2 PS1s with screens for my two boys. They now have the choice of a movie, PS1 games, or a CD of their own choosing. Altogether I spent 370 bucks. Depending on what you want you may want more. I couldn't justify having a much more expensive entertainment system in my car than I have in my house. That and being able to take my system to any car I own with no installation hastles. Also if any part fails, I can just buy another or add another for my 3rd child (who I didn't have when I bought the rest of the stuff). |

>I just got my 04 XLE LTD with Nav and DVD. It comes with a pair of wireless head phone. Is there any way that I can play the DVD with the existing speakers in the car? Thanks. Took a while for us to figure out, since it wasn't stated in the manual. Just play the DVD as usual, and the press the CD button on the front stereo head unit twice. First push will play the CD changer, next push will show "AUX", which pipes the DVD player audio through. But the audio volume is rather low for some reason. HTH. Stephen |

>I have recently ordered a new 2004 Sienna with the factory DVD player. Does anyone know who makes these players for Toyota and what model it is? Specifically, I am trying to determine if you can play a DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW formatted DVD in this player? I am trying to find out the make and compatible media as well. So far I have tried Ricoh/Ritek DVD+R and DVD+RW, both shows "DVD Error". It did play VCD recorded on some generic CD-R fine though. I believe the DVD problem is due to media type. Someone has suggested me DVD-R, but my burner can't do -R. So I am going to try some other DVD+R media brands. Stephen |

I tried a pair of Sylvania "Cool Blue" lights, and it was a good improvement over stock. The 04 Sienna takes 9006 bulb type. For the ultimate light, HID is the way to go. They provide 300% increase in light intensity. True HID light system comes with ballasts that boosts voltage to 60+ volts. These are the blue/purple lights you see on Lexus/Mercedes/BMW. However, the system is not cheap, costing between $400 to $600 just in parts. Dont bother buying those $40 bulbs that claims to be HID. They are usually just regular bulbs coated with blue tint. Real HID bulbs are clear, blue lights are from the internal gas ignited to higher energy state. There are many retrofit kits available on the net which comes with bulbs with 9006 fittings, but these are not DOT approved for street use. However, 04 Sienna has the proper shield for the HID retrofit to aim properly, so you wouldn't blind everybody in front of you. Installation should be fairly straightforward. Stephen |

without sacrificing rear audio controller... Audiovox makes a console which does the trick. (you can check out audiovox homepage and you will see they show a 04 sienna to illustrate this). The DVD player which I am buying is VOD715 with the proper insert and I should be good to go. |

I looked at the Audiovox website and the LCD/DVD Players PROV710/715/716/916 looks very cool. They are a little on the expensive side ($1000 for 7", $1300 for 9"). The Audiovox site only list Dodge, Ford and GM overhead consoles. Seems odd since they use photos of the 2004 Sienna. I did find a online retailer that has the Sienna console, part number is 1187097PL (Shale/Tan) and 1187098PL (Pewter/Gray). I still can't find the appropriate insert that fits the console to the lcd/player. Audiovox website's listing for inserts is useless - doesn't tell you which insert goes with which lcd/player. Anyone else have any luck? Matt |

| call audiovox tech support. They will help you out with all the part numbers. I have the part # ( at work) which I can post tomorrow. | |
| Anyone put one of these one? I see Toyota does make them for the 2003 Sienna... | |

Audiovox makes it. You have two choices: ( there may be more) 1. one piece unit ( DVD built into the display unit) VOD701 - DVD player/screen 1187097PL ( tan color console) 1187085PL ( tan color insert) 2. 2 piece unit ( dvd player is installed under the seat or in the trunk..) VOH701 - display unit 1187097PL ( console, same as above) 1187021PL (insert for VOH701, tan) You can call 1-800-645-4994 (audiovox application support) to get other colors model #s) Hope this helps. |
