I have a 2001 and just got a brochure from Mazda for the 03:
Changes so far the 03s are getting on ES trim:
1. Std. ABS w/EBD
2. Std. 16" alloys
3. Std, side blinkers like on Euro cars
4. Std. leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
5. Optional Manumatic tranny
6. New blus colour added (looks like the MP3 blue).
Get them while you can. For 2004 Ford will take care of some aspects of production apparently, so now is a good time to get one of the few TRUE 100% Japanese cars left on the market.

These only apply to CDN models.

I don't think this (TH) is the place to discuss it, although I would like to. Especially to see what you guys from the US have to say about Iraq, future attacks and the readiness of the "civilized world" as Bush calls it for another one.
Apparently there are different views in Canada than in the US on the Iraq question and truth be told, the Greater Toronto Area is the 3rd largest urban centre in NA, so Torontonians are more than quite aware of the dangers that looms. I mean we have a nuclear central 50kms from downtown and that really is our main problem since if they wanna strike, we all know, no amount of security will aid, b/c it will happen. Question is not if, but rather when and where. Sad reality, but these are the times we live in.
As a last aside, I know there are people linked to terrorist organizations living in Toronto and Montreal. It must be. That's another one of my problems.
As for tomorow, I have school, so I don't know if there will be a ceremony, but I'm sure the profs will say something about it.

Good question. You know they don't list that in the brochures and teh mazda.ca site is not always the most accurate. I believe it will stay the same as it were in 2001 when we got ours.

#16638 of 24043 Best Place To Sell/Advertise My Car

I'm going to sell my 2000 Protege ES in a few months and I'm wondering what advertising methods people recommend. I gotta do a private deal, so trade-in is not an option
I live in the DC area and was thinking about advertising on Cars.com or CarsDirect.com.
Anyone have any experience with one or the other?
Thanks in advance.

I always sell using the local paper The Toronto Star. Sold 3 cars this way in 3-4 days very quickly. Advertise it for 1 weekend and then wait until the next if it doesn't sell to advertise it again. I get the most $ this way. I would NEVER sell/trade to a dealer: rip-off!
Q: Why are you selling it?

Congrats Parallax! Your Pro looks great. My '99 was that color and it looks classy and hides dirt very well! My '02 is dark red and while I love it, it's a bear to keep clean. Hope you have many more happy miles!

Zoomster and I just got in from hanging one 8-by-15 American flag on Richmond's Downtown Expressway, and 36 2-by-3s on our toll plazas all over Richmond. Been up since 3 a.m. and started work today at 4. Nice to see all the patriotism this morning -- in addition to the gazillion flags flying everywhere, the Virginia Power skyscraper downtown has the lights in its windows arranged to say "USA - 9-11." Nice touch.
Maybe I'll get to go home early today and watch some of the stuff on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc., etc., etc.
God Bless America!

P.S. Three years old and 42,500 miles? Wow! I'm at two years and four months with 42,800!
