I don't know how prices differ between upstate NY and Chicago but I think that you should be able to get a SF Limited AWD w/Ultimate for $27650 after all rebate adjustments. I paid $25240 for a limited AWD w/Premium in May with mats & cargo tray. Gartner Hyundai in Aurora IL. If you can wait a month or two they should go lower with new models coming out and the lots are full of SFs.

Prices will most likely go lower but the choices of color and model will also diminish. Theres still plenty of gls models but the ltd's in many colors are already getting hard to find. depends what you're looking for.

Assuming that it also has XM and carpeted mats (which most do), invoice on the car is $30,400. Factoring in the 2% holdback, your dealer is making around $100 on the deal. If the Santa Fe you're looking at for this price is equipped to your liking, I recommend that you grab it.

BTW, I picked up a new Santa Fe Limited AWD with Premium Package a few weeks ago and I could not be happier with it. It's comfortable, spacious, well-built, and fun to drive. For a more detailed account of my impressions of the Santa Fe, please check out post # 128 in this thread:

Looks like you have a very low sales tax rate in Alabama!

2007 SF LIMITED AWD, 3RD ROW, SUNROOF, NO DVD by pogiru96

I am currently in the market for the new SF. Just went to the dealer and here is what I got:

2007 SF Limited AWD, Sunroof, 3rd row, NO DVD
Retail: $31,180 MSRP
Dealer Discount: $3,000
Hyundai Rebate: $1,000
Final price $27,180 + all the fees and taxes (thats makes it $2,000 below invoice)

Is that a good price, or should I shop some more?

Just wondering how much would I expect to pay for 07 SF AWD w 3rd row, nothing extra?

Any suggestions?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Seems like a great deal to me. What's to question when you're buying a car for less than what the dealer paid for it? FWIW, I just paid $27000 (after the $1000 rebate) for my 2007 Santa Fe Limited AWD with Premium Package (sunroof) but no 3rd row seat. My M.S.R.P. was $29,880.

$27,180 is a great price for a Limited AWD with touring (3rd row) and premium (sunroof). I can't imagine how you would do better than that. I just paid $28,000 for a Limited AWD with touring but without the sunroof, so it looks like I overpaid by about $2,000.

I think it is a good deal. I paid $28000/- (after rebate) for the same configuration.
(I think I paid $1000 more maybe because mine has leather seats !!)

Also, if you have a trade-in for the quote you got, then it is a great deal.
