| I bought it from Huffines Hyundai at Plano. I took the $2550 finance rebate since they said there is no prepayment penalty. So I will pay it off within the first month. Yes, everything is included in that $22700. | |

I first tried a Pilot - interior not pretty enough' and I hate column shifters. Gas mileage bad. Then I tried a Toyota Highlander Limited. Better inside, better mileage, best price was $29,700 plus 599 dealer fee and t&t. Not happy when '08's will be out in 30 days. Tried a Volvo XC90. Loved it but Consumer Reports gives it a big black circle in reliability. Not for me. I have a friend who has an '06 Santa Fe and LOVES it. Says it's the best car she's ever had. I have to admit I like the look of it and the gas mileage. Now the questions: What kind of price can I consider a target for the 2WD LTD w/sunroof? Bear in mind that I am in the very southern most part of Georgia but will travel most anywhere and drive it home if price is right. Can some of you who have been looking for this model offer some experience please.= Also has anyone taken the 10 yr/100,000 mile extended bumper to bumper warranty and if so what did you pay. I plan to keep this car for a while! Thanks so much. Looking forward to your replies.

Can anybody share their personal experiences of purchasing a 2007 SF GLS 2WD A/T without any optional packages in a suburbia of Chicago? Is it still possible to find honest dealer out there ? Looks like all of these "internet quotes" is just to lure people into a dealerships where much more bigger price appears out of nothing !!! Really hard to trust dealers now !!! |

I got a lot of help from this awesome forum so I post my experience here. I just made a deal with a dealership in upstate NY area for the 2007 Santa Fe, SE, Front wheel drive, with Premium package, powder pearl white with beige interior. They offered me $23600 after the $1000 rebate. I finally negotiated it to be $23050 after rebate, with $3500 trade in of my old Hyundai Elantra. Dealer document fee is $45. Nice people to deal.
