Just bought a 2007 Santa Fe AWD Limited (5 Passenger/Platium Sage/No Sunroof) for $24,000 before Tax/Title/Licence. Do you think I got a good deal?

Assuming that your purchase price reflects the $1000 rebate, you bought the car for $2000 less than what the dealer paid for it. You tell us - do you think you got a good deal?

BTW, even considering the dealer holdback (probably in the area of $500), I still don't know how people are getting these deals UNLESS we're not hearing about under-valued trades that are involved.

Well that's the million dollar question, isn't it ?
I'm not sure how ppl get these deals and they do all the time. I personally have gotten 2 such good/great deals in the past and NOW I'm hooked
BTW a good deal would be

A great deal would be anything <= $500-$1000 below the TMV price. How/where to get it ? I don't know yet but somehow experience tells me I WILL Until then I'll keep looking.

I didn't have a trade. And yes that price included a $1,000 rebate, $750 Hyundai finance discount and a $500 customer loyalty discount.
