Great deal on 2WD Limited Steel Gray by msrjaj

Just purchased 07 Sante Fe Limited. Only option was floor mats. Agreed upon purchase price after rebates was $22,270. After $2750 trade allowance for '01 Santa Fe GL 4 cylinder with 106,00 miles in rough shape, final price was $19,520. After 7% sales tax, title, reg, doc fees, OTD for $21,139.40.

If anyone in the RI/MA area is looking to purchase any Hyundai, I can't recommend Route 44 Hyundai in Raynham, MA enough. I know we're not supposed to mention salesperson's name here, but the Internet Sales Manager here was the best car salesperson I have ever dealt with. This was, by far, the easiest car purchase of my life. Feel free to email me for any info.

Responses to the queries

Purchased at Champion on the Gulf Freeway

As to a higher invoice - if you are seeing a higher invoice, I'm guessing you are pricing an AWD, mine is 2WD

Although already answered, let me restate here the options for the Limited (FWD or AWD):

21 = base LTD
26 = Premium Package (Adds moonroof)
27 = Ultimate Package (Adds Infinity Stereo, DVD, Power Passenger Seat, 115V outlet to Premium Package)

31 = Touring LTD (3rd Row and associated climate control)
36 = Touring + Premium
37 = Touring + Ultimate

I have found that as of this forum post, pricing for the Santa Fe is all over the map, depending on where you are checking. There are several reasons why you find different invoice pricing on different websites. Here are a few:

1) Some sites include the Advertising Fee ($500) that is charged to Dealers by Hyundai and some do not; you might be able to negotiate this fee.

2) Hyundai has changed the price across the board to account for standard XM radio on all Santa Fe models now being built.

3) The Destination fee has also gone up ($20) and it is being applied both to models with XM and the many non-XM models that have been built, but not yet shipped to dealers.

4) Some areas of the country, if not all, get extra port installed options (usually floormats). The price of options have to be added to the base invoice for the trim.

I believe that the Fitzmall Dealer Invoice price is accurate (matches the actual invoice pricing dealers get) and it includes the advertising fee.

Also, I think the TMV price for the Santa Fe might be wrong because I get a similar price (close to MSRP) no matter what zip code I put in... and I know most people should be able to get this model in any trim at dealer invoice or better (after the $500 rebate everyone can get). Of course, if you are a recent college grad or existing Hyundai owner, you can do even better.

Thanks so much for posting this information! I'm in the process of trying to buy a Santa Fe in Round Rock. I have been given an OTD price of 28,300 for a Limited 2WD with the Touring package. It looks like you got a WAY better deal.

I just emailed my salesperson the details and am hoping to get a better price.

Thanks again!
PS I'll post my sales info. as soon as the deal is done. This forum has been invaluable in negotiating a good price.

2007 Sante Fe GLS by dannyle

Hi

Anyone in MA recently bought a 2007 Santa Fe GLS (base model) with nothing else? Could you please point me to the right direction please.

On a side note,
I went to Tom OBrian Hyundai in Quincy, MA. They have a $3K markup on all their car. Is Hyundai that much in demand that have a $3K markup on all their car? So when we look at a 07 GLS, MSRP is $22700 but we begin to negotiate they starting price is $25.7 for a 07 GLS base. Is that right? Finally got a chance to talk to the dealership daughter, which was so rude. We get up and leave that place

Contact the Internet Sales Manager at Route 44 Hyundai in Raynham. I just got a fantastic deal from him on an '07 Santa Fe Limited. Email me at msrjajyahoo.com for more info if you would like.

Then go out of state if necessary. It's your money you are saving.

Don't negotiate from sticker price down. Negotiate from invoice.

I never once even acknowledged the sticker price on the cars since I never set foot in the dealership. Just got an email from my local place saying they accepted my offer as long as I get a car they have in stock.

$24,800 out the door for 07 GLS AWD 4SP AUTO with premium package.

I'm in Richmond, VA
