Tell them exactly what configuration and color you want and have them give you a quote for "out the door price". Make sure the quote includes all the details of exactly what you are getting. You can then visit your first choice dealer and decide if you want to negotiate or if you think their price is fair. I thought my dealer offered a fair price. I had to wait a month for my Santa Fe. It was well worth the wait. I absolutely love it!

Fitzmall. Check their pricing and inventory online. If you can't get one for these prices or lower then you are throwing money away!

I was out at Peoples Hyundai in Folsom Calif and they were trying to sell me a awd Santa Fe for 33000 they were telling me no one can get one at invoice. Best we can do is 2000 over msp because the SUV sell's it self. I showed them my driver license to prove to them I was"t born yesterday.

You can easily see the invoice prices using Edmunds.com at 2007 Santa Fe . Invoice prices are also available at multiple other sites on the internet and I've found they all pretty much are identical. Although I don't claim extensive knowledge on dealer finances, it is my understanding that the dealer will receive a monthly rebate from Hyundai for each car it sells. This is called the "holdback" and can vary depending on the volume of cars the dealer sells and on the particular model. Hyundai can alter these holdbacks to provide incentive for dealers to push specific car sales. The actual net cost of the car to the dealer is therefore usually at least $500 to $1500 less than the invoice price. That's why dealers can sometimes afford to sell below the invoice price. If anyone has more information or corrections on this holdback concept, please step in. I think the dealers and manufacturers try to keep this detailed information confidential and I have no idea what the actual holdback is for the 2007 Santa Fe.
