I went through Sam's Club Auto program and paid $400 below invoice on all models. I paid close to $25,000 for my 07 Santa Fe Limited 2WD with sunroof. The Azera was only a $500 more. All incentives still applied which is why the Azera was so close in price with the 07 Santa Fe which didn't have any.

I live near Toledo, and in the process of looking for the color/feature set I wanted (Dark Cherry Red with Beige interior SF Limited AWD with Premium and Touring Packages), checked out some Detroit Hyundai dealers. Glassman Hyundai in Southfield seems to have the largest stock of 2007 Santa Fe's. They have a nice web site so you can look to see what they have on their lot. Thayer Hyundai in Livonia ended up getting in exactly what I wanted. They traded it to my local Toledo Hyundai dealer so I could buy locally. Not many dealers are willing to trade like this. I also visited the Ann Arbor Hyundai dealer. Nice people, but I preferred to buy locally.

As far as a good deal, I think the best thing to do is to contact your dealer(s) of choice via internet. Tell them exactly what configuration and color you want and have them give you a quote for "out the door price". Make sure the quote includes all the details of exactly what you are getting. You can then visit your first choice dealer and decide if you want to negotiate or if you think their price is fair. I thought my dealer offered a fair price.

I had to wait a month for my Santa Fe. It was well worth the wait. I absolutely love it!

davesuv, your comment about contacting dealers via the internet is spot on! I negotiated the purchase of our Santa Fe in this way, sending emails back and forth over the course of several days with three dealers before making my decision. Before I even stepped foot into the showroom, I had already worked out my OTD price with their internet team.

BTW, you said you purchased an AWD Limited with Premium & Touring package... Would you mind sharing your OTD price?

My OTD price including everything except sales tax was $29,179. This was for a 2007 Santa Fe Limited AWD with Premium and Touring packages plus floor mats. Dark Cherry Red with beige leather interior.

I've seen several lower prices paid here, but I'm happy with my deal. It represents a fair markup for the dealer, who is not a particularly large Hyundai dealership. This was the price they quoted me via email.

Fitzmall.

Check their pricing and inventory online.

If you can't get one for these prices or lower then you are throwing money away!

Then I guess I made out all right . Fitzmall's site shows an "Internet Delivered" price of $28,104 (exclusive of tax, tags, title & optional $99 dealer processing charge) for an AWD Limited with both the Touring & Premium pkgs
(Fitz Auto Mall Santa Fe AWD Limited).

I paid $27,777.57 (before NJ tax, tags & title...$30,074 after) for mine.

I was out at Peoples Hyundai in Folsom Calif and they were trying to sell me a awd Santa Fe for 33000 they were telling me no one can get one at invoice. Best we can do is 2000 over msp because the SUV sell's it self. I showed them my driver license to prove to them I was"t born yesterday.
