HA! Your killing me smalls.. Who knows... The grand daddy Veracruz looked exceptional from the pic's posted. But I'm not in that tax bracket! Single income, no sugar mamma yet.

Care of the black does take some work. But regular waxing and upkeep should do the trick. And if your in NM, you may want to consider a teflon coating. It gets HOT there!!
If I were to go white, I'd get the Arctic White. That would look GREAT with beige.

So my dealer made the offer of the Limited AWD with sunroof package at 30k out the door. thats a bit under 3k below MSRP. I wanna think this is a decent offer? For the record, according to lulu, i am also of the evil educated minority. But suprisingly, my dealer can appreciate that. Doesn't waste time haggling and just cuts to the chase. We'll see....

I wish I were so lucky! I tried to buy the Pearl White one on the lot today, and didn't really expect them to get to where I was at since I didn't want all the extra packages. But I didn't expect the runaround where the salesman goes back to the manager 4 or 5 times (I lost count) dropping a little bit each time. The most insulting, however, was the first counter where they were like $1000 over Hyundai MSRP. This dealer adds $2K extra profit and $1K for oil changes and tires for life (I think).

The next most insulting was the comment that they could never even reach my price for a Limited with no packages - I was $1K under MSRP at $25K. I'm sorry but I don't believe that.

I'm now on a hunt for something besides a Santa Fe unfortunately.

Jim,

Did you read my earlier post? What is up with that (the service you received}? That makes me so mad about the $2000 build up!!! It's a Hyundai for goodness sakes and that Pearl White one has been sitting there for at least 2 mos! Doesn't it cost the dealer a lot if the car is sitting there forever? And they told us that the tires and car washes were free! ha! Maybe I will go look at that Mitsubishi Outlander when it comes out! It has the same type of warranty!

What happens to the warranty and service if we buy one from Santa Fe, NM or Las Cruces---does there service dept honor the warranty. Can anyone answer this question?

I would appreciate it!

Yes, your factory warranty is good at any Hyundai dealer in the US. I paid $200 below invoice minus $1k in rebates for a black on black Limited with a sunroof as the only option. They also tinted the windows free of charge. The dealer I buy from (Red McCombs Superior in San Antonio), has a great sales department but lousy service dept., so I get my cars serviced at Hyundai North. It's farther away but they have an excellent service dept. Definately worth the drive.

Hyundai Incentive $500 Cert. by wa0wa

I received this $500 cert. from Hyundai VIP event in Cerritos, CA. link title.

One of the delar has offer me $200 below the invocie on GLS w/ Premium pkg but will not accept the $500 incentive. Does he has the right? or he must give me additional $500 off?

Small print on cert is "The purchaser has the option of applying the $500 to the purchase price or to have the incentive issued directly to purchaser by Hyundai Program Headquarters This coupon is good at any participating Hyundai dealership".

Please share your opinion. Thanks.

I live in Houston also and I have seen the newspaper advertisement for BestHyundai with the Santa Fe GLS (auto. V-6) advertised for $19,945 which is even ~$579 below invoice even after the $500 rebate and 2% MSRP holdback have been subtracted from invoice. Is this in line with the discounts you received, or did you also get an owner's loyalty $500 rebate. And how can they make a profit by giving away their holdback and then some?

2007 Santa Fe Limited Fwd with premium package in silver blue by brygo

I pulled the trigger on the Limited Fwd with premium package in silver blue for $25K plus TTL. Fit and finish are quite good. Most of the dealers in the San Francisco bay area either don't have the color/option combo or the price is more than I want to pay. Btw, I got this from Roseville Hyundai in Sacramento area which is 120 miles away.

I live more than 100 mi. from Houston and haven't seen this ad... I gave nearly $1000 under invoice which included a $500 discount from Hyundai for "paying cash", which just means I had my financing arranged beforehand( the dealership beat my financing rate by 1/2%, so I wound up using them anyway).
negotiate the OTD price w/ your salesperson, i.e. $xxxx.xx plus TTL, then stick to it...NO ADD-ONS in the finance office---NONE!!!...be ready to walk out if necessary.
The hi-volume dealers get discounts and incentives above and beyond the "holdback" so they may not make as much on your sale, but they are not going to make a deal where they lose money...and they can always look forward to the next customer that hasn't done their homework...good luck!!!

Lulu, hey, my dealer just called and told me he tracked down Black n Tan LMT AWD with sunroof. It's in Arizona. I thought about it over the weekend and I think Im sticking with the Slate Blue/Beige. As much as I'd love a SF now, I don't want to make a quick decision that I won't be happy with for the next 5 years. So if you want it, it's out there!

Hello all, I am looking to replace my wife's 2002 Saturn L300 with a 2007 Limited AWD. Does anyone here have any good leads to deals in Michigan (metro Detroit or beyond). Thanks for any help.
