The salesman seems to be totally uninterested in looking for anything not on their lot, and my car is going to a new home this weekend, so I better get going! Jim Albuquerque, NM |

Thought I was gonna have some new wheels come Xmas. But if I drop some 30k on a car, I want my colors! Oh well, I've waited close to 5 years for a new ride, another 3 months won't kill me. Just hope it don't kill my current

Replying to: lulu585 (Oct 26, 2006 5:18 pm) Indeed. With my car gone, I have cash in hand - no trade, no financing - the perfect customer. I'm about to start checking with dealers in other cities. I'm on the East side by the way, trying to get Southwest Hyundai to take my money. I did a quick drive over to Larry Miller but they didn't have but two or three Limiteds. Jim |

Replying to: lulu585 (Oct 26, 2006 5:45 pm) yeah, black and beige I think is a classy combo. Just not a huge fan of the Black. Have to keep it up, shows blemishes, dirt, etc. and has a tendency to oxydize quickly. I live on the coast too. But that combo with the chrome trim just is so slick. Slate blue and black is slick too. Good luck with your current auto. I've already sacraficed a few grand to the car gods in the past year. Used already with 80k on the o-meter. And I so very much know what you mean about considering a Hyundai. Took a whole bunch of arm twisting to even get me to step foot on a lot. But truthfully, it's been hard finding another auto that gives you the same quality or waranty for that matter for that price. Good luck

It gets HOT there!! If I were to go white, I'd get the Arctic White. That would look GREAT with beige. So my dealer made the offer of the Limited AWD with sunroof package at 30k out the door. thats a bit under 3k below MSRP. I wanna think this is a decent offer? For the record, according to lulu, i am also of the evil educated minority. But suprisingly, my dealer can appreciate that. Doesn't waste time haggling and just cuts to the chase. We'll see....
