| I am in sacramento and I am looking for a 3rd seat Santa Fe limited with a sunroof The dealer can't find one in calif but they will get me one without a sunroof and put one in for me. The dealer in Roseville would not give me a good deal on my trade in so I walked. I think 28000 is a fair deal for the car but we are haggling over the trade in. The 3rd seats limited are hard to come by. Any ideas out there. I heard someone had a coupon for 500 is there any way to get one of those. I bought an Azera in June so I( think that gets me a current owner. I will wait till I make the deal before I bring that up to them. | |

bought on 10/14/06: After 2 months of website research and numerous phone calls...but, it was worth the effort. 2007 Limited Powder White Pearl w/Blk Leather loaded w/both Ultimate and Touring pkgs. sticker-$31,660 invoice-$29,084 paid- $28,100 + TTL 20.4mpg first tankful...avg 22.6 on second tank..all mixed hwy/city. local dealer wanted $500 over invoice, didn't have color combo I wanted anyway(this proved hard to find--plenty of gray or beige interiors, but very few black) I was told by every dealer along the Gulf Coast that I could not order what I wanted from the Factory at this time. Had to drive 100 miles(to Houston) to pick it up...was not looking for ultimate pkg., but very happy with it. Grandkids love the DVD player & 3rd row seats. Infinity sound system is awesome and the black interior is actually a very nice Charcoal color. Nearly 600 miles on it and I love everything about the Santa Fe...hope I can say the same a year or two or three from now.

Replying to: 2007ltdpwp (Oct 24, 2006 7:50 am) I wish I could be more optimistic about the MPG I'm getting, but I'm barely making out 15 at this point. It's mostly city driving with lights and stop and go, so I assume that is why I'm getting such low mileage. I have yet to really take it out on the highway for a long distance to see what it can do, but I'm sure that if I did I'd be a lot happier. Or so I keep telling myself in the hopes that I won't go crazy looking at the trip calculator everytime I fill up. I have about 650 miles on it now and I love the ride and feel of it. I'm sure that you will like it years from now and it holds its own with residual value should you ever get tired of it. |

My dealer is currently trying to find right trim and color combo. At first I gave him only one option, then 2 then 3. Still no luck. Doesn't seem too much an odd combo either. Limited AWD w/sunroof Slate Blue/beige or Blk/beige. Anyone else having problems finding their trim and color choices out their?
