I have a quote of $29,000 for a 2009 SF LTD AWD V6, touring w/ rear seat entertainment, MSRP of ~$35K. The $29K price reflects $2,000 cash back. Seems like gas assurance is no longer available. Is this a good price? I am looking for a car relatively soon and will gratefully appreciate any guidance.

2009 Santa Fe - How Much Off MSRP Did You Get by dsatterw8

Looking at 2009 Sante Fe SE FWD with added option package (heated seats, etc). So far we have offers of $3,922 and $4,372 off of MSRP going through AAA website. That includes the current $2,500 cash back.

Please post any offers or final deals in terms of $$ off MSRP so that we can all try and compare the current climate for deals.

FYI - I'm in NE Ohio.

2009 GLS 18k in Sacramento region by xetown

Walked in to Roseville Hyundai and test drove a GLS last night. The sales guy threw out 18k as we were leaving. Sacbee ads listed 19.5k.

They have a TON of stock, many limited trims. They can't even give these away. No 2010s yet.

Depreciation hurts, with many used 2008s listing near 15k with moderate miles. But if you keep the car forever, it's a bargain.

Hope this helps.

First time Hyundai owner! I shopped around 4-5 dealers in the Bay Area and South County Nissan Internet Manager was willing to quote me $21,800 for the 2009 Santa Fe SE with added bluetooth and carpeted floor mats. In all, it was $24, 300 out the door. And I asked him to engage the autolocks as a courtesy which he did w/o question. I would highly recommend that dealer again.

Hi - I am in sacramento and planning to buy a Santa Fe. Was wondering if the Roseville dealer gave 18k as OTD for GLS? or was it base price and will add fee +tax etc?

Thanks

My wife and I have the Santa Fe on our short list. We like the car, but we like others as well. There are 5 area dealerships, and 3 of the 5 have about 100 Santa Fes each. The other two have around 60 each. With such high inventory, it seems like the $2500 incentive is low. Do you guys think we should wait longer to see how much further they come down in price? Right now we can get a FWD Limited for right around $25k.

I can give you an honest opinion if you tell me what the MSRP was on the FWD Limited that you were quoted 25,000 for? What options were included? Does the 25000 include tax, reg, and fees?

PS. My husband and I just bought 2 Santa Fe SE FWD. Love them.

Figures, I feel like I got a bad deal then. I just got a 2008 AWD Limited with sunroof, dvd etc for $25,700. After all the research I had done, it seemed a good deal right up until I found this forum today, less than 24 hrs after I purchased the car. The 2008 had 400 miles on it. The buying experience was very good, but no wonder if they walked away with a couple of grand. I had put 6k down and have 5% interest. Sigh...

I am not kidding, I had looked everywhere for TMVs and such. I got the car because it was what I needed in a vehicle at a price I thought fair. My subaru was dead at 124k. Worst time to have to buy a car.

Since I am signed sealed and delivered, any recourse? It would be nice to save 3 or 4 k.
