09 SE AWD w/Touring Package and Blue Tooth by seospider

Looking to buy a car for my wife and she has settled on a new Santa Fe SE AWD with the touring package (wants the 3rd row) and blue tooth.

Curious what others have paid for the Santa Fe at this trim level and with these options.

Edmunds says:
MSRP--29,480
Invoice--27,930
TMV--27,039

Curious if people are paying less than TMV? I live outside Boston. Any feedback would be most welcome.

Sincerely,
Sean

We have a deal on a Santa Fe SE FWD w/Touring and bluetooth, mats and cargo net in Texas for $23,850. It breaks down like this...

MSRP: $27,955
Invoice: $26,480
Edmunds TMV: $25,698 (and the dealer is giving it to us for that)
Rebate: $2000
Charge for bringing it in from out of town: $152
Total: $23850

Good luck finding one. There is one vehicle in Texas that's an SE/Touring with bluetooth and it's a color we're not crazy about. We've called around and there are very few SE's with Touring. Everyone says it's b/c no one likes the third row. I can't imagine why. My 6'2" husband was comfortable in the third row. He wouldn't want to travel cross country in it but he'll never have to.

Happy car buying!

'09 LTD pricing in Denver by denvertrakker

Just FYI -

Arapahoe Hyundai in Denver - the folks I bought mine from a year ago - is advertising '09 Santa Fe LTD's with MSRP of $34,780 for $28,780 before any of the "special" rebates (military, college, owner loyalty). These people were easily $1000 below everyone else a year ago, and probably still are. Bet you could even beat 'em up a little bit more...

I was recently quoted $26.3 K for an 09 Limited AWD in IL including rebate.

That's not OTD though, right? I ended up paying $27,350 OTD for a Willow Gray Limited AWD in Greensboro, NC. Dealer had to get the car from VW. Could have gotten a Silver one a bit cheaper but preferred the Gray one - also dealer said the Gray one had the tow package (not sure what that is).

No, I haven't purchased yet. Price includes standard Limited AWD options without extras. Includes destination charge but not taxes or title/registration.

Santa Fe Limited Touring? by atipo

We've been having a terrible time finding this car. At last, we think we've found an 09 Ltd w/touring package (need the 7 passenger option) with leather seats, AWD, for $31K. My husband hired a broker to find one (cartelligent), but they could only do $30,500 for a car shipped from out of state (we're in CA) and then they couldn't finish the deal (car disappeared??) So, I called all the dealers in our area today Petaluma Hyundai came up with this deal.

Any thoughts? We're starting to feel as though we don't have much negotiating power since the supply has totally dried up.

Your issue is the options you want. I'm not sure, but I do not believe your dealer can simply order a car with the options you want from Hyundai. Hyundai just makes a certain mix of cars with certain options and yours is one of the low supply, high demand option packages. This means you do have less negotiating power unfortunately.

anonymouse2 is correct. Hyundai dealers get an allocation of units - as opposed to a true 'order what you want" process. So if you are looking for something truely specific, as you are, it could be near impossible to find.

Expand your options a little maybe?

Current dealer incentives for 09 Santa Fe? by counselor4444

I'm interested in purchasing a 09 Santa Fe SE trim with Touring Package. MSRP 26,695 + destination. Invoice is somewhere around $25K. There is currently a 2K rebate. (I am not using Hyundai financing). That brings it to around 23K. How much lower can I get this for right now? Any dealer incentives? I also imagine it will be cheaper in August too? (Would have preferred to get a Veracruz but there is very few on the lots right now because the 09's just began rolling out in May and almost no rebates or incentives).

TIA!
