So really $28k for a Limited AWD. No nav? How is the car treating you?

The 28K included the taxes. No nav system.
Tha car is awesome. What new car is not? Nursed it home at 55-60mph, never going abouve 2000 rpm and not using cruise control, which I will keep doing till it reaches 1000 mi to break in the engine and trans. Registered 24mpg on the trip computer but I have no idea how accurate that is.
The only thing I do not like about it is that highway noise from passing vehicles can be heard easily. I could not hear the sound of its own engine - just other vehicles. I think they put in adequate soundproofing in the engine compartment, but not in the doors and roof.

You may want to have that wind noise problem checked at the dealer. The SE that I bought a couple of weeks ago has NO wind noise at all. However, I test drove one at another dealer that had a lot of wind noise. It may be just a door adjustment.

It is not wind noise at all. Its just the sound of other vehicles passing. The car itself is whisper quiet.

Did that include a trade in? If not, you got a great deal.

Yep, no trade in.
That makes me feel better since I was wondering if I "really" got the rebate and military discount.

Edmunds True Market Value (what others are paying) is $23,357 and you got an additional $1000 military rebate, so you did about $100 better than most. Enjoy the car

I'd say he did a lot better than that since Edmunds True Market Value does not include TTL.

Wow, I'm glad I found this forum! It seems like people are getting some killer prices. I'm thinking about getting a 2009 Limited AWD and was wondering what a good deal would be. Edmunds says people are paying $26,521 (after the $2k rebate), but should I be shooting for better than that? If location matters, I am in northern Virginia, but I have no problem going a few hours to get a better deal.
Thanks!
