Went to Richmond last week and bought my Santa Fe SE FWD MSRP $25,771, Discount price $24,652, got it for $20,377 including rebate, plus $1100,00 taxes and fees. Our local Hyundai dealership would not touch the price. (Said I should buy two) Had to drive 3hrs away but is was the BEST car buying experience ever. Did all of the negotiations through e-mail. If anyone wants a Hyundai and is within a few hours of Richmond I HIGHLEY recommend West Broad Hyundai. |

purchased in illinois, titled/taxes in indiana. cargo mat, mudguards, carpeted mats. $22,200 OTD with a $6,000 trade allowance for a 03 Jeep Liberty Sport with 75K mi. Taxes were around $1,600. Probably could have pushed a little harder, but not much I suspect. |

Nursed it home at 55-60mph, never going abouve 2000 rpm and not using cruise control, which I will keep doing till it reaches 1000 mi to break in the engine and trans. Registered 24mpg on the trip computer but I have no idea how accurate that is. The only thing I do not like about it is that highway noise from passing vehicles can be heard easily. I could not hear the sound of its own engine - just other vehicles. I think they put in adequate soundproofing in the engine compartment, but not in the doors and roof.
