Replying to: newcrvman (Feb 10, 2009 12:59 pm) I'm about to close on SF SE AWD $24.770 OTD in Alabama. They will be delivering it from Arkansas, I think. Fitzmall price is about $900 lower, but when you add driving to MD from AL, plus time-off at work, plus hotel, plus all the possible problems to deal when you have to sign or go home with nothing, I think I'm better to do it at home. My wife hates me for trading in my 2006 LX CRV 2WD for $11.000 - "I will call your Mother and tell her that you are an idiot!" - but with 50K on it I'd better do it before the warranty expires - it is hard to explain to a woman how you can loose $3K of trade-in value in a year anyway... http://www.hyundaicanada.com/Pages/SpecialOffer/SalesPromotions.aspx In Canada GLS AWD 2.7L 2009 now sells for $21,995 with destination incl. (CAD I guess, which is $18,000 now), with 0% APR for 48 months. Do you think we can wait for better deals in the US than what we have right now?

You may want to consider this option and try to dump your CRV at CarMax.

Purchased my Cherry Red 2008 AWD Limited (no NAV, no DVD, no Third Row) in October, 2008. Manufacture date: May 2008. Alabama. OTD price was $23500.

Replying to: newcrvman (Feb 10, 2009 6:13 am) I just bought a 2008 Santa Fe SE FWD last night in Omaha NE at Stan Olsen's. The sticker was $25,545, and I paid $20,432. They also gave me $5k for my 2004 4cyl Santa Fe, basic model. I left the showroom after writing a check for $15,432. They said the 2009's were just shipped. That may have sped things up a bit. Who knows.

2008 SF AWD limited, no nav. (3500 rebate + 500 auto show discount; there was a local auto show but MRSP is $30145 & they gave a price of $30815) I have gathered info from MRSP, Edmund's method for invoice price, KBB,etc. To get the best deal, how much lower do i go ,say from the Edmund's, for a starting negotiating price?
