Sonata came out in 06 and got a facelift for model year 09 which debuted in 08 at the Chicago Auto Show. Santa Fe came out in 07 its due for a facelift (according to what they did with Sonata) for model year 2010 which should debut early in 09. So lets see what happens. I personally love the looks of the Santa Fe and its super negotiable price, as to where other cars arent as negotiable. And you dont give up anything for this price, you get it all plus one of the safesr SUV's on the road. Yea im a Hyundai fan hahah |

Three weeks ago I closed on a 2008 SF Limited 5P AWD Platinum Sage W/O DVD or Nav. OTD under $25K. Superb fit and finish! Rich leather and XM radio. One Hyundai dealer in Langhorne, PA tried adding $2K of extras to the MSRP and start from there. I walked. I had Edmund and Consumer Reports dealer invoice info. Two dealers made no non-sense, first -time sales offers, Towne Hyundai of Denville NJ, and Faulker-Ciocca Hyundai of Quakertown, PA. As Ciocca Hyundai had the color I wanted and lower OTD door price (lower PA sales tax?) and I live in PA but work in NJ, so I went with PA. Sweet ride!

The Santa Fe will have a 2009 model here is the press release: http://hyundainews.com/Media_Kits/2009_Models/Santa_Fe/Press_Release.asp However, i think it will have a very short life due to the fact that 2010 is the MMC for the SF which should be debuting early in 2009 just like the facelifted 2009 Sonata debuted in Chicago Auto Show early in 2008.

Replying to: oscar_gata (Dec 09, 2008 9:54 am) I really dont know of you can help me out here but, how can somebody know how much the insurance will be on a car before he/she buys it? Parents are looking into a Santa Fe or CPO RX330/350 however they only want to pay tops of $600 a month including insurance and car payment. So where can i go/call to see about how much it would be for insurance a month? Thanks in advance Player4
