Always try to speak to the service manager, not the service desk jockey. Write everything down in long winded prose before you get to the dealer. Insist the write-up you did is attached to the work order. Try to demonstrate the issue. If you can't demonstrate the problem in front of them, they probably won't fix it. Good luck with your turn signal issue but don't let it drive you crazy. It you feel like it is, write to this forum and we'll make you feel better buy letting you know you're not alone. Dan |

I have an '07 Santa Fe Limited - when I was in the dealership 2-3 weeks ago, my salesguy offered me an '08 with a list of $29,100 + T/L for $23,900+ T/L. When I bought my '07, I got $4200 off. So, it depends on how strongly you bargain, how large the rebates are, and how hungry your particular dealer is. My car was made in Feb 07, and I purchased it in Oct 07. It appears that Hyundai, who makes these babies in Alabama, keeps them around until a dealer orders the particular color and option combination you want. My wife ordered an '09 Camry Hybrid (which we love, by the way) on June 9th, the car was built in Kentucky, and ready for pick up at the dealer on July 3 !! I doubt it was a dealer swap, because we ordered a couple of unique accessories that I don't think most people would have asked for. My build date was 6/09 on the door plate. ** IMPORTANT ** Here in SW Florida, our dealer is down to about 10 - '08 Sante Fes. He is not as aggressive now as he was a couple of weeks ago. The '09s are right around the corner, and there won't be any big rebates - at least, not in the beginning.

i got a postcard yesterday from my local dealer saying all rebates were doubled and the the santa fe this week is $7000 - not bad if you can get the car for invoice as well.
