Limitted in MA by jspam

AWD Limitted. Negotiated 25,800 before tax, title and dealer fee here in MA. Also added the 400 college rebate after to bring it to 25,400. I feel like I could have gotten it a little lower but my wife was getting really uncomfortable with the negotiations. Next time I wont bring her, although the car was for her lol. Lesson learned.

I used fitzmall quotes as a starting point. The GM was not too happy about the Fitzmall price. I will post my invoice when I get it as we are not sure what exact specs will be yet.

SE Price, Is this good? by arghh

Hello all, I read through many of the posts and can't find a specific post on the Santa Fe SE price. Its a 2008, FWD

I am in NY, NY and I got a price on the SE of 20,500 (With Tax, Title comes out to about 22500$.)

After seeing the bottom line price in consumer reports of around 21,500$ I think I got a great price.

It is the standard SE with none of the additionalk packages. Is this a good deal?

Thank You!

The only way to evaluate a deal is to compare the purchase price (exclusive of tax, license, and applicable rebates) with dealer invoice. The best source for invoice pricing is right here at Edmunds.com. In the "New Cars" section, find out the invoice price for your Santa Fe exactly as it's configured; a decent deal is roughly $1000 under that number, LESS REBATES, plus tax and license.

Thank you for that explanation.

I did the math, and based on your method I am getting a good deal.

The invoice price (with destination) was 23,650. Minus 1000 as you said, so 22,650, then minus 2000 rebate, is 20,650. And we are getting it for 20,500 with no Destination Charge. The only charge I am going to balk on is their "adminstration fee" of 350$, there is no destination charge so I am not that upset. But I am going to ask them to drop it.

So total OTD would be about 23,000$ with taxes and DMV. I feel that is a solid deal

We just purchased an '08 Limited with the Touring/RSE package. We looked at everything in its class. Honda CRV, Acura RDX, Mazda CX-7, Subaru Forester, Rav4, Suzuki, BMW, etc.

We got everything we wanted except the NAV. We purchased a silver with black interior for $27,505. Car had 300 miles on it. Best Hyundai in Houston, TX.
