Lately there have been quite a few posts requesting opinions on pricing, "Is this a good deal?", "How much should I pay?", etc. Unfortunately, most of these requests come with insufficient information to respond with sound advice. When asking such questions here on the forum, you'll get much more qualified responses if you include: - The vehicle's M.S.R.P. - The vehicle's invoice price (easily available at Edmunds.com) - All specific model info (including year, trim level, FWD / AWD) - All options Failure to provide this info just forces potential respondants to look it up; I for one simply will no longer take the time to do that. If you provide the info, however, I'll always do my best to offer sound advice. Just a thought.

Replying to: trumpetpa (Mar 10, 2008 12:48 pm) Invoice was about 23,300 with mats and cargo cover 23,300 - 2000 rebate - 1500 trade = 20,300 We agreed on 19,200 + Tax, tag, etc. So, looks like I got it for $1100 under invoice, which makes me happy. Beautiful vehicle, easy to drive, most importantly, surprised the wife. She was on her way home in her beat-up 98 cavalier and I called her and told her to swing by the dealership. She was very happy! Thanks for the help, really appreciate the info I got from here. |

Replying to: hondalegend (Mar 11, 2008 8:40 am) I am in NJ. do you know if this $2000 rebate is available in NJ? if invoice price is 25000, at which point I can start to negotiate? $1000 lower than the invoice? or $2000 lower than the invoice? I read some posters here and find the following equation, anybody know if it works? invoice price-$1000-$2000 rebate= OTD price (including everything) thanks a lot.
