hi everyone, I am in the market for a new car. Santa Fe 2007 seems to fit the bill for me. From reading the posts, I feel that $24,9 is a good price for the LTD with 3rd seats, in Charlotte, NC. Does anyone know what is good price for the GLS fully loaded? Thanks a Bunch

You need to decide on; AWD or FWD only? 4 cyl or V6 ?(You don't want 4cyl unless most driving will be on flat terrain with very small loads or you will not be getting very good MPG so th4en why bother with a 4 cyl when the V6 3.3 l gets 19 - 26 mpg? Not sure if leather is avail on GLS? not sure if moonroof is avail on GLS? GLS is 16 in wheels only If AWD required definitely go with SE or LTD which have 18" wheels std 16 in wheels yield very slightly more of a car-like ride, 18 in wheels sit up off the road a bit higher and yield longer tire tread life if properly inflated and rotated. It would seem that best deals would be on LTD top model maybe with FWD? Good Luck!

All models are available with power moonroof and 7-passenger seating although it could be tough to find a GLS in stock with either. Leather seating is standard on Limited, not available on SE or GLS.

hi guys now you can get 500$ more discount than last month. Good news!

My point was that the moonroof is available (as an option) on all models. It's neither required nor standard on any version of the 2007 Santa Fe, just available as an option. FWIW, for 2008 the moonroof will be standard on Santa Fe Limiteds.

Your knowledge and comments here have helped everyone out IMHO including ME!!!! I have owned my AWD SE since last jan and have never regretted my purchase. So far it has been oil changes, the TSB for ambient temp readouts (which I learned about here!)and the infamous dome light Mod from Hyundai (in other words...pretty reliable so far......Never thought I would own a Hyundai but I am sold so far. Heck, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan do you a favor just talking to you! The Hyundai Dealership is still very hungry. AND IT IS A LITHIA DEALER TO BOOT! I like the Hyundai better then their competing models (test drove em all) and saved a bunch too! Best bang for the buck IMHO! This board gets a big thumbs up as well! A tight knit group of helpful owner/posters!!!! regards Jeff

Replying to: mpuzach (Nov 02, 2007 6:25 pm) I am in Reno Nevada. There is a huge Hyundai dealer in Roseville Calif (huge for this area anyway) about 1 hr away. There is also a dealer in Carson City ...about 45 minutes away (very small). Our dealer is stand alone (Lithia bought most of the city's car dealerships thru the years and there are not many independents left. Of course they will never get their mitts on Toyota or Honda or the likes! I would not want to be in the car business now! It is very hard to get a good price on anything unless you are prepared to really travel. Amazingly the service dept here is very good....ONCE THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN HYUNDAIUSA DECIDES TO TELL THEM!!!! They also had no idea about the plug and trailer harness. BUT when they looked it up, they added the lithia markup which would have made it come to about $97 + tax, instead of the $81.61 list price!if I remember correctly. I ordered the harness by phone, from Roseville (since it has become a matter of principal...not getting ripped off by local stealerships. Lots of paperwork and dealing with CA and Nevada DMV.... For some reason (maybe to get my next car purchase regards jeff |
