How long one can wait before purchasing extended warranty on Santa Fe? Does it have mileage/time limit.
I am planning to contact dealer listed on checkbook.org. Is there any catch? Is this coverage same as what any Hyundai dealership would offer?

Thank you.

Just came home with my wife's new Limited Santa Fe.

Slate Blue with black leather, Premium Touring package, wheel locks and mud flaps. Got over $2000 UNDER invoice before rebates.

I have been researching this vehicle for the past month here and other places. Thanks for all of the great info.

This vehicle is a pre-xm radio model. When I got to the dealer we realized once we were on the test drive. Even though my wife wanted it, the way I look at it it's one less bill each month.

We originally were going to go for the SE with the premium package but it's getting a bit tough to find the color/feature combination now for a 2007. This Limited jumped in front of us and they made us a deal that was very hard for us to refuse. I really am not crazy about the leather but it's my wife's truck and she said to do the deal so I did.

S & S was fantastic to work with and the sales manager was very helpful over the past month. Our next vehicle purchase will be with them again.

Congrats - you got a great deal on a great vehicle. I only paid $300 less for mine, identically-equipped except without the Touring Package. You did well.

Thanks. I tried Towne and but they ran out of the combination I wanted. Wayne Mazda provided the lowest price ($279 less) but is 60+ miles away, compared to Brad which is 4 miles away only.

Kudos to this forum for providing such valuable insight and information.

csi007 - I'm just about ready to purchase a similar SF but at a dealership here in Virgina. Based on your posting, I would like to consider S&S if they are not too far from me, but can't find them on the web. What city are they located in and is that the full name of the dealership? (I know we can't ask for direct contact info on this forum) Thanks much and congrats on your new ride.

Anyone heard anything about what incentives Hyundai will be offering this month? Nothing on their website so far.

We actually went to Towne hyundai. The salesperson was nice and honest. He sticked to 1700 under invoice plus 0% from Hyundai

But their used car manager was rude. He kept saying our car was a piece of crap and only offered 2000 under the KBB trade in value. We had to pass the deal.

We then went to Nanuet New York and we had a decent trade-in about the same as KKB value

If we need to buy another hyundai without trade-in, I would definately consider towne hyundai again.

Just my 2 cents

For August the Hyundai site has $1,000 rebate and an additional $500 if you finance with Hyundai ( the big duh)
