Now the wife can monitor what the kids are watching, start movies, etc., and the driver is not distracted. BTW... if you use the factory IR remote controller and hold it exactly upside and pointed straight at the back window, you can control the RES from the front row, because you'll get enough IR play off of the back glass to make it work. BTW2... if you buy a "learning remote" (such as a"One For All" -- visit www.hifi-remote.com to learn more about them and others like them), you can learn all of the factory codes and have a remote which is even easier-to-use from the front row. |

I don't know if it will then go to your headset (as I don't use a headset) but it will go to your handset. I also am wondering about your Question B. I just bought an 09 EX-L with NAVI and foolishly I assumed that an outgoing or incoming call would be displayed on the navigation screen, but I can't find a way for it to be displayed anywhere (navigation of radio display). Pretty annoying and I hope I am just overlooking something simple, but after reading all the literature and playing around with the car I still couldn't figure it out. I have an 06 acura TL with HFL without navigation which displays all numbers on the car's intrument panel, but it doesn't seem like Odyssey will do this. Hopefully someone will have an answer. I'll try calling Honda on Monday and let you know what they say. |

I tested this unit and recommended: it's a FM transmitter, holder with flexible goose neck, and hands-free (conversation) over car speakers. It charges iPod and iPhone3G. Some reviews from other websites stated annoying minor beeps (iPod) every minute or so. This is confirmed with my iPod, but NO beeps with my iPhone3G. One of the product sites: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13234 (AllKit Cigarette Mount Holder and Charger with Full Range FM Transmitter for iPhone and iPod) |
