Take a perfectly good safety feature and become less aware of your surroundings. Now when you're talking on the phone and drinking coffee you can not be bothered by actually checking your surroundings..... |

| Am I just too used to driving SUVs, with their high, wide, supple armrest/consoles, or are the driver/front passenger armrests on the Oddy (mine's an 08 touring) utterly deficient. Anyone done anything about it? | |

I ran my wire down the left side of the driver dash, under and behind the dash garnish near the pedals, and over to the "Y" outlet. it looks fine. you may find this funny, every now and then i'll be in the vicinity of a shop using a wireless camera, and my display will show me the inside of the store, sometimes with people in the isle. once i was behind another car whose backup camera was transmitting all the time... i saw what their camera was looking at. for $100, it has been a good project / value. |

I had a 2004 Odyssey and right in the middle on the top was a hole with a rubber plug so I had not problem. I now have a 2008 Odyssey and do not see any unused holes in the firewall. Need to put some heavy guage wires from the battery for Ham Radio equipment. Anybody drill a hole through the firewall or find an unused hole? |
