Took forums advice and I returned all the OEM Honda "Not" So All Season Floor mats and trunk tray. I was a bit reluctant to make the purchase of the WeatherTech Hvy Duty Floor liners because I already got burned once make decision based on photos and I read some mixed reviews on the internet about the true fit of the WeatherTech mats. I found out WeatherTech has a showroom in my backyard, Downers Grove IL 10 miles away so I rode their and asked if I can try all their floor liners and trunk liner in the parking lot which they did support. The WeatherTech product fit as described in my 07 Ody. They were the best fit I can find out there so I made the purchase. Now I just need to wait for it to snow to update on real world test. Thanks for forum advise once again.

I had a 2005 and traded in for a 2007.

The small piece of carpet cover I believe is for the middle seat (Honda calls it Plus-1 seat) in the second row. If you decide to store the this seat in the foor storage, this piece of carpet is to cover where the plus-1 seat is located. I hope I have explained it well.

Running Boards by rv65

The running boards on the 08 model don't retrofit the 05-07 models. They didn't add the hardware to mount it on the 05-07. like the mounting holes. Unless somebody wants to try retrofitting it. The bluetooth accessory will retrofit on the older ones but may not match the interior even if it's the same color. Hope this helps.

Looking for roof rack crossbars and more by beachmom3

Hi there,
I am about to close on a 2007 EX. I don't think it comes with the roofrack crossbars. Does anyone have any suggestions for purchasing. Do I have to buy from Honda? Also is there an alternative maker for the cargo area liner? I am guessing it is best to get them from Honda, I may try to get a discount on them when I close.
Also does anyone have any issues with the EX cloth seats? should I spray them with Scotch guard or other treatment or leave them alone

I would recommend NOT buying any accessories during your negotiations as it can complicate the issue at hand which is getting a good deal on the 25K plus car. However it is helpful to know the best prices where you can get main accessories elsewhere via the internet. This way if the accessories "you" want come up during the van negotiations you know true street value of what they are trying to get you to buy. Below is a list of Honda OEM accessories I bought on internet from outfit called dealerfit.com.

I did end up returning the Honda OEM mats and tray as they were very disappointing, see post 813. I instead went with company called weathertech, search them online. They have the floor liners you truly want for long term for about the same price.

Cross Bars $153.26US
Cargo Tray $89.10US (not good product)
Floor Mats, All-Season $154.33US (not good product)
RES Headphones $62.64US

If you know you are going to end up with the van you may want to buy your floor liners online now as it will take a week for them to arrive... so you kindof want to avoid having new car w/o mats.

Cannot comment on your cloth seats. I however purchase 7 cans of scotch guard at Walmart to spray all my floor carpetting while still new. I put my roof cross bars on last weekend and it was well worth the cost savings.

I am considering buying all weHater floormats for my 2007 Odyssey. The interior is olive leather. Wondering if those w/ olive have bought the tan or the black mats? Are you happy w/ the mats in general?

google honda accessories. i found a site called handa-accessories.com. They are a dealer, but sell accessories at a much cheaper price (seems to be about 60% of retail). Do this for any accessories you are interested in.

The load bars are about 160 - the cargo tray is 90.

They are a dealer - so maybe you can get your local dealer to match the price.

What about access to the storage area behind the driver seat? Was any cutting involved? Did you get all 3 rows?

I did get the WeatherTech All Season Floor liners for all 3 rows plus I got the tray for the trunk cargo area.

The 2nd row floor liner is a one piece unit and it comes with a customer fit for this car but that fit does not have a cut out for access to the 2nd floor storage area. So if often access to the store area is something important to you then you have to weigh this set back against the pros of the added carpet protection the weathertech liners offer.

I will say when I bought the van and first saw the 2nd row floor storage area I thought that was a feature I would likely use very often. Now that I own the van I find I have yet to use it (been two months) even when I had the Honda OEM mats. Your question got me thinking about how accessible the storage is now that I have the one piece mat so I went to my garage to give it a test run and can say that you can still access the storage but you do have to curl the mat back. Personally I feel the weathertech are the way to go. Especially now that there is snow and salt on the ground in Chicago so the WeatherTech 2 mos update has 2 thumbs up.

FYI When I had the Honda OEM all weather mats they did have the cut, but the weight or maybe just the existence of something on top of the storage was still was a factor in opening the storage.
