| I read that comparison test with the Infiniti, the Audi, the Evo, the Porsche and the Lotus, and you guys were trying to get the Corvette and the Viper. While I would not disagree with the effort you put into getting them, I think you missed out on getting another couple of cars that would have been interesting: You could have tried for the turbo Cobalt and a Mustang. Depending on the conditions and setup, the Cobalt might have had a chance to catch the Lotus. And a good Mustang, well, again, it depends on the conditions and setup. . . . | |

I was going to open a new topics, for this question, but I do not think there is a substantial point to discuss. On the other hand, some Press writer might find it an interesting research topic: Canadians have been importing cars from the US for years. We have at least 1 topic about that. It is a price issue. However, lately I have heard that there is a shortage of used small cars in the US due to high fuel prices. On the other hand, in Canada, we should have a fairly good supply of small used cars because we have been buying small cars more over the years. I will not guarantee that the prices will be wonderful, but there should a fairly large number of them. So are US used car dealers buying up Canuck small used cars and shipping them south? Or are private citizens coming up north to buy a car to take home? |
