Replying to: jr07 (Feb 07, 2007 8:53 am) Yeah good luck with corporate. I've had similar problems with Chrysler. They had my truck for 6 weeks and I finally pulled it out of my dealership to let a friend fix it. I will never buy a chrysler again. They have worse service than VW. I've had problems with GM dealers but nothing like your story or mine with Chrysler. It seems like Chrysler went down hill once Mercedes bought them and thus it's now a German company Rocky |

A reporter is interested in talking with "baby boomers" about their relationships with the cars they have owned over the course of their lifetimes so far. Did you love or hate your first car? Did you do something especially fun with or in your car? Did you buy a modern Edsel you were later embarassed to admit you ever owned? How did your cars define your lifestyle and/or your personal image at a point in time? This is an opportunity to share your favorite car stories, boomers! Please respond to jfallon Thanks, Jeannine Fallon Corporate Communications Edmunds Inc.

A reporter aims to talk with anyone who considered (or chose) a vacation, furniture, big-screen tv, boat or other purchase when deciding whether to get a new car. If you were in an either/or situation where a vehicle was just one of your options, please send a brief description of your decision and thought process to jfallon Thanks for your consideration, Jeannine Fallon Corporate Communications Edmunds Inc. |

Replying to: chintan32 (Mar 14, 2007 1:08 pm) I talked to the reporter on this subject. What I thought was curious is that he had NEVER visited the Edmunds forums even though he is an automotive writer. Earlier this week, I read a Chicago Tribune travel article on visiting the city of Detroit for a weekend trip. Reading the article sort of indicated that the writer was well, not very familiar with travel boards as the paid about 50% more than she had to despite her tight budget. It makes you wonder why the PROFESSIONAL journalists don't use all the resources that are available to informed consumers? |
