You gotta be s#$%^&g me? I ordered mine for $200 over Invoice. I saw one on a lot here with some $2000 add on for "Market" something or other. But you know what? It's still sitting there. Kinda makes you wonder. They try to gouge you on a truck that they can't "seem" to deliver but at the same time they are shutting down plants for weeks at a time to clear the lots of the glut of 1500's that are out there. Ask yourself how many 2500HD crew cabs you have seen on the road and compare that to the number of F-250 SD crew cabs you see. Ford is kicking their ass right now and GM wants to play games. Go figgure.

There are three chevy dealers and two gmc dealers where I live. Do you know how they get their allocations? Each dealer receives a listing of what GM is sending. When the trucks arrive, one representative from each of the three dealers meet to pull straws to see which truck goes to which dealer. Ordering....takes anywhere from 4-6 months on a 1500, who knows on a 2500. Needless to say, the dealer isn't dealing. Market conditions dictate rather than what's happening at the factory.

the titled of this discussion has changed to "Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra - Owners hangout" In addition, the old Silverado XVIII has been reopened.   Reason being: we will no longer have stopped/continuing discussions. That way your subscribtions will alway be current. Perhaps you place too much importance on things already forgotten. To further clarify what "this" is really about: It was my error in the first place to stop the previous Silverado discussion...and continue it here. With our new software, there is technically no need to stop/continue a discussion.   In addition, I think people will appreciate this, because they will not have to update their subscriptions.
