I have a 2002 Chevy extended cad Silverado 1500 with the LS trim. Is anyone aware of aftermarket accessory that will enable the seat to fully recline or is there a way to modify the existing bracket. Thanks for any help |

| I have heard that GMC/Chevy Trucks will be coming out with a 4 door version in the regular 1500 series to compete with the Dodge QuadCab and ford SuperCrew. Does anyone have any details as to ETA, specs; anything, or even confirm the rumor? | |

| Ghislain, I can confirm GM will produce a new Short Short Box Crew Cab (SSBCC) in Oshawa in the near future. The preparations for this truck will begin during our upcoming Christmas shutdown. Due to the larger dimensions of this vehicle,to be built alongside Silverados and Sierras, there is extensive work to be done. I will post product information and program timing as it becomes available. Best of the Season... | |

Thank you very much Chuckbender; I should have gone to this Web site earlier. I have had a real time getting any info from GM. I would be very interested in Specs. especially box length etc as soon as they become available. Thanks again for the info Ghislain Ottawa |

1. Is there a tester available to test the Dexcool coolant for how low of a temperature it is good for? 2. On my '03 Silverado Ext. cab, the driver side doors didn't seem to latch tight enough where as over uneven road surfaces I was experiencing some slight shifting of the doors. After adjusting the latches, I could get rid of the looseness, but at that point the top edge of the driver's door didn't comform to the adjacent rear door or seal against the vertical weatherstrip from about 3"from the top of the door upwards, so I adjusted it back some and it's pretty good, but still has some occasional movement-do I live with it, or 'ugh' have the dealer check it out? |

I can hear a creaking sound when I brake suddenly, its hard to describe...if I brake slowly, I dont hear the sound, but if I brake quickly then I hear it - it sounds like it comes from the left front, but I think ive heard it from the passenger side as well...It has made the noise in warm and cold weather, so I have ruled out the temperature change... I have tried to oil the rear spring mounts, and that didnt do anything...I have driven with the door slightly open and braked, and still hear the noise... Has anybody else had this problem? |

| Need some advise. Have a 2000, Z71 Ext cab LT, 5.3 w.3:73 rear, 70K miles. Have a problem when I come to a stop on dry pavement, the antilock brakes activate from about 7 MPH to near zero. I had a phone conversation with my mechanic at the dealer. I assumed that the antilock sensor in the hub was going bad. according to the dealer the sensor is fixed in the hub and the entire front hub needs replaced, perhaps both sides. The hub assembly is $480.00 each!!! OUCH! Has anyone heard of or experienced this problem?? Any advise. Also have a bad card in the fuel tank level sensor needs replaced. Any info would be greatly appreciated. | |
