yeah i took em off the doors too http://phases78.homestead.com/300m.html it was easy. just a hair dryer (if its not hot enough there!) some dental floss to 'saw' behind the letters, and some good surface cleaner, and perhaps some polish/wax that helps too. real easy!

...is different than others I have seen on this board. The only pics I have seen are the "round" filters. K&N makes filters that fit in the stock filter housing? What's the part number and where did you get it? And just think, I JUST changed my air filter not more than 5 minutes ago! LOL!

im not sure the part number, its on the club website, you can get it at most automotive places... easy install..

Yesterday I decided to disconnect my negative battery terminal to see what impact resetting the M'z computer would have... WOW what a difference, its waaaaaaaay faster, and shifts waaaaaaaaaaay better... Any of you guys who have modified your cars and not reset the computer, do it !

must be ready for the Specials to come in because they have goofed on the description of the only 02's they have in stock in the Atlanta area, go to www.carmax.com and do a search they come up 2002 300m special, well we know their database is ready anyway. something tells me that this special isn't really anything special. why are they keeping this such a secret anyway? Otto what's up are the beretta ground effects not in? or are they waiting on Germany to send over some turn signal mirrors?

LOL, that was a good one tom. it was deal dealer BS, smoething not uncomming with wonderful 5* dealers. but the these solenoids are sensored, no not censored, sensored. just like the benzito's. if you are auto rollin up and you hand,arm,leg,pelvis, whatever is there it won't roll up anymore, it will stop and then roll back down.

ok i just spent a small fortune on these clk55 mirrors, and now i gotta spend hours upon hours molding them on. all for that damn signal light, lol. but cool thing is they come with the hologram turn signal as well. so i cancelled my order for muth. but are the 300m specials gonna come with these mirrors!!! ???? if so i gotta send these back and just bolt those on there!

Went for my appointment at my 5 star today. Told them I thought my front end rattle might be the strut caps. It turned out to be the sway bar link. parts 64.45 labor 35.00. While i was there i had the oil changed and the tires rotated. And i noticed an ad for Borla exhaust for the PT cruiser up on there bulletin board. I ask the service manager and he said that they had installed over 80 on PT cruisers. I ask if they could install one on my M. So happens they could and they had one in stock an could do it right then while i waited. Wow i said how much? Parts labor and tax it came to 617.52 I had it done everything was finished in two hours an 20 minutes. The Borla sway bar oil change tire rotation I was impressed. And am very please with the Borla. It has a nice throaty sound. It does not have the venturis. But i don't think i need them its not overly loud. Put about 40 miles on it today. Can't wait for this weekend. Will take a little road trip. The real test will come in the morning when the wife takes the car to work. Its her daily driver and I haven't said a thing about the new exhaust to her. She plays the stereo pretty loud. I will bet she won't even notice it. sel714
