To replace fuel tank, is for certain vehicles built within the following VIN breakpoints: 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT 22442652-22460353 and 26100010-26138714 2002 GMC Envoy XL 22437217-22460354 and 26100018-26138713 If you have a vehicle that may qualify, you should receive a letter from GM about this special policy. If you do not receive a letter and want to know, call your favorite dealership, with your VIN, and ask the service dept. |

Well, as I could have guessed it, went to the dealer today about the sway bar/bushings issue (my clunking just started at 41k mi). Was told "yes it's a known problem, there is a TSB on it, but your out of warranty and there is no recall for it". So, even though this has happened on a good number of vehicles, and obviously is some sort of design flaw or undersized bushings and not the fault of the driver, the answer is basically 'sorry you just missed the cutoff, hit the road'. I got a good look at GM(C) customer satisfaction at it's best. Unbelievable.

OK, several questions: Anyone have a loose airbag/horn in the steering wheel. Mine rattles all the time over bumps. How about a ticking noise under the hood (clearly audible with the hood closed) that disappears if you restart the truck? Really rusty hinges and supports for the rear window? Finally, notice the new recall for improperly installed windshields on '05's? Greg |

A while back--about 2-3 years or so, some owners of 2002 triplets were experiencing air conditioner problems that were associated with a switch locted on the low pressure side I believe, that I can remember. I've tried to search posts thru this site but with no luck Can anybody remember the sites or part #. This part helped in making the AC work instantly rather than blow hot for some time first or for the AC to fail to blow cold totally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
