I am very pleased with the quality and quantity of Isuzu advertisements on the radio. The new guy is funny and interesting to listen to, no urge to turn the channel when the Isuzu ad comes on, actually when the Isuzu ads come on turn it up and I listen closer. I like the lines like "when you grab life by the horns you get the bull, a whole pile of it" etc.. .. It is encouraging that the quantity of ads is as high as it is. It means they are working, and Isuzu, even selling vehicles it designed for GM is doing well. .. Now I can't wait for the low sulfur diesel Isuzu models that I hope are just around the corner to being available in the USA. |

Isuzu please take note of the Mercedes ($60K approx) GL450 for 2007, they already have 26mpg with a powerful V8, they plan to be ready for low sulfur diesel fuel with a very fuel effcient diesel version of the GL450. The GL450 seats 7 so it can replace most minivans and they say it has real off road ability. .. My request is for Isuzu to bring back the Trooper with room for 7 passengers and a very economical diesel very soon, and price the base diesel model below half what Mercedes is asking for their version, and market it the best economy SUV because you don't have to spend so much to buy it. .. Isuzu can make a big comeback with the help of high gasoline prices and Isuzu's diesel know how. Isuzu could also get back into the small car with great handling and a fuel efficient diesel marketed to people with long commutes and fleets. |

Maybe you could partner with Honda again and bring back the Oaisis. I mean, it's a Honda that's doing great, and getting it cheaper would be even better, plus, patrnering with GM, thats not the best idea I ever had...

i found this link that tells of isuzus past and future. Judging by it, isuzu was out of the car market in 2002 with the Isuzu Aska (a rebadged Honda Accord sold only in japan) and is going back. It also seems like Isuzu and Mitsubishi are going to team up. Two odd companies that relied on GM, how will they do?? -Cj |
