You will need to abandon the original cable to the RB1 and Sirius tuner that is behind the passanger side panel in rear of liberty, and replace it with cable P/N 82208322 which you can order from the dealer at about $40.00. Hope this helps.

Can this accessory be added. I have an 06 limited 4x4 and would like to have that feature. I have 3k on the jeep and no problems as of yet. Just love this little jeep.

My 06 Liberty came with U-Connect which is part of the rear-view-mirror. What radio do you have? Do you have a single cd player, or is it the 6 disc cd changer?

I have the 6 cd changer. I saw it was an option but it wasn't listed on the sticker. There is nothing on my rear view mirror.

Hi all,
Bought my daughter a 06 liberty with 14k miles, she had it about a week and was shopping, when she came back to leave
it would not come out of park. Called roadside and they did something with the keyless entry, lock unlock off on,and walah it was out of park. Well week two on her way home from the holidays 300 miles from home parked at the hotel and same thing stuck in park..

Anybody have a clue??

Thanks

If its the standard Jeep keyless entry, get it back to the dealership to resolve this ASAP. If its an aftermarket item, you need to get it back where you bought it to get this fixed. I've never heard of this type of problem before - the only time I've ever heard of an automatic stuck in park is when the driver forgot to fully depress the brake pedal before trying to shift out of park! Otherwise, cant figure out why the keyless entry would have any affect at all. Good luck and let us know what happens.

What radio do you have with the factory UConnect?

The factory version has more and better features than the dealer installed version. Dealer installed version has a dash button thing and not in the mirror.

I have an RBQ 6 disc in dash cd radio and want desperately to hunt down the parts needed to get the factory uconnect installed. Mirror buttons, microphone in the mirror (dealer verion has a tacky separate mic).

I would like to know if the RBQ with 6 disc is compatable with the factory version. Thanks.

Jeep Liberty 6 CD in Dash Changer by jmoore7

Recently while driving my water pump froze and a belt broke and the battery went dead. I had the water pump replaced along with the belt and also a new battery was installed. This was done by a Jeep dealer. Now the radio works, but the 6 CD in dash changer won't work. It doesn't make any noise at all. I can't even eject cds. I was using it at the time the car vehicle went dead on the highway. Any ideas?

After the battery is disconnected from today's stereos or CD changers, you often need to enter a reset code in order to make them work. This is to prevent people selling items they have stolen out of vehicles. If your CD changer is the factory model from Chrysler, get the dealership to reset it for you. If not, contact the store where you had it installed. Good luck.
