!st time user. Im have a restored 280SL Benz in great condition less than 50,ooo on odometer since rebuilt, but lately my tach has started to act up when it gets below 50 F. It bounces all over the place. Do I have to have the entire unit replaced or is their a "graphite fix" that will not cost an arm or a leg? Any help appreciated,' Chuck

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 4WD with a Fisher 7.5 Minute Mount snow plow electric/hydra and when used for a while I can stall the engine. The truck does have an HD alternator but the battery is the original which is 650 CCA . I'm thinking that I need to upgrade the size of the Battery to have some reserve when plowing. So My question is should I buy a deep cycle 900CCA or just a 1000CCA optima Red Top? any ideas???

Quite an issue today with the system, or was this scheduled maintenance?

There hasn't been a new message since 11/21/08. Has the Edmunds site gone dormant? Or changed URL? What's up?

everything's worked pretty well, or at least the same, for several months now. We're all speechless. |

Replying to: Sylvia (Feb 16, 2009 11:48 am) There is a question about times that I've noticed. E.g., Sylvia responded to a post by lrennybosch, 2.16.09, 11:44 am but on the actual post the time is 2:44. Why the difference? |
