Replying to: pf_flyer (Jul 18, 2008 7:51 am) BTW, I was not talking about the ordering of the list of my watched items, but the order in which new posts are displayed when I click on "Read New Posts." |
|
I rarely use the Read New Posts button. Sounds like time for an experiment!

Replying to: steve_ (Jul 18, 2008 9:40 am) That one pops up first for me, every time, if there is a new post there....

Has always followed an order of undetermined (by me) logic, but the order is always the same. Actually, I did ask the tech guy one time a long time ago what determines this and he didn't have an answer for me. He may have just not had time to think about it. Doesn't really matter to me what order I see them, I'll be reading them all anyway! What I do see is that the boards which contain discussions I track appear in a certain order all the time. The discussions on those boards also have a specific order. If there are groups on any given board that I am tracking, they also appear in a certain order, as do the discussions within the groups. I have the idea that the order may loosely be tied to when the groups or discussions were created (earliest first), but I've never proved that. |

I want to post some pictures, but when I go to MyCarSpace, I am logged as Guest. I click the "LOG IN" button, but nothing happens except the screen refreshes. I tried it in FireFox and IE 7, and I am already logged into Edmunds.com. Any ideas? -------------- Update, I managed it with IE. Is there a possibility that MyCarSpace is not set up for Firefox 3?
