Many people whined, at length, about the pop-up that used to appear when the mouse was dragged across a poster's link -- it displayed, among other things, how many posts the person had made & when they joined. That's gone.   Okay, now it's necessary to click on the poster's handle to see how long they've been on the board -- still no joy. I get their recent posts, but no clue how long they've been around (how many posts, join date). Am I stupid, or have things changed (it's possible that it's both)? My theory is that the powers that be decided it was a bad idea to identify the "post #1 people" as opposed to the "old timers."   What's up? Replying to: cdnpinhead (Jun 12, 2008 7:12 pm) The mouseover feature works in Firefox but due to a javascript issue isn't working in Internet Explorer. This is getting fixed the last week of June. They don't shut off once the mouse is off the hot text or after a second or two; they hang.   The username popups are as bad as the Vibrant text, infotext, and several other popups. Some companies now paying sites to allow them to hotlink words on the called pages and popup advertising if the user accidentally runs the mouse over the linked text.
