did the change take place that removed the left-margin tag that displayed the number of posts and signup date (among other things) for the poster? I realized awhile ago that it wasn't there because I couldn't immediately check a name I didn't recognize to see if it was the #1 post or the couple hundredth post from someone who'd been on the board for a year or two or the XXXXth post from someone who has the default "member since" date (13 Apr 01) who I hadn't crossed paths with before.   I realize it's still possible to get the information by clicking on the posters name, but I found having it immediately at hand useful, though I didn't realize it until it was gone. As far as why, the information in the post is far more important than statistics about the poster isn't it? Especially since those stats are easily found without taking up space on the page.   Just an FYI, you don't have to click on the username for that info, just mouseover the username and that info pops up in a little balloon.

That was a couple of hours ago, but it appears better now.   When this happens (& it has several times over the past year or so), it comes and goes. It came this morning & (perhaps) it went.   Perhaps not.

and strobing S****n ads have never gone away and although they're slightly more subtle, I hate them just as much. Not only is it limiting my Edmunds experience but it has made me dislike their products.

Happened again today. Hit edmunds.com and I'm greeted by name Click Community and my Toolbox doesn't show; I'm asked for a Login and PSWD I click away and go to another place (like horrors: ask the community), then I come back to Forums via the Community and I'm recognized.   I guess I feel "special".
