The discussion titled "Article Comments - 2007 Ford Mondeo First Drive" has 21 posts in it. If you read the first page, posts 1 - 20, the "Messages Page n of m" area at the bottom does not allow navigation to the next page, instead it says "all messages displayed". I only realised there was a post 21 because post 20 had a reply and so a link to the reply post was visible. Looks like one of those boundary conditions which wasn't tested properly.

I'm still getting a page in carspace.com/csgroups which has my name in the upper left of the page. I can go to insider and return to forums and I get the nagivation menu for read new posts.

It seems to come only after a shut down on my laptop instead of sleep or hibernate mode. I have another bookmark starting me at insider.com and it works like advertised.

IE 6, XP mediacenter.

Should I just forget the Carspace bookmark and use the Insider?

Cancel button by imidazol97

The wrong icon loads for the Cancel button if I choose "Remove Watch" at the top of a forum. I get a button "OK" and one that says "Remove Watch." But actually the "Remove Watch" is a "Cancel" button. Rollover says "Cancel." The button is http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com/media/townhall/webxicons/- cancel.gif

If I select "Change Watching" at the bottom of a forum page I go to a choice of three buttons, "Read New Posts," "Remove Watch," and "My Watched Items."
There the "Remove Watch button is linked to this icon,
http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com/media/townhall/webxicons/- cancelsb.gif.

Clicking on that "Remove Watch" button takes me to the two choices in the first paragraph with the Cancel button that's calling up a "Remove Watch" labelled button.

It seems lately that my Edmunds posts are moving slower than ever...I have upgraded my DSL to 3.0, and everything, but everything moves at whirlwind speed...EXCEPT EDMUNDS...

I can click on a topic, and it takes forever to get there...I can post to a topic and it seems to just stop in time and take forever to post...

Since I don't know much about computers (and even less about law!!!......) all I can tell you is that Edmunds is the only site that has slowed to a crawl in the last few weeks...

Anything happening at your end, like software updates or server updates, since I updated at my end...

It seems very slow these days to me as well. In particular, the site is very slow to initially load.

It's all the cr*p advertising that accompanies the content these days. It takes time to collect it all together, format it and then pump it down the pipe to you.

I wish I could blame it on the advertising, but alas, I cannot

We are seeing a specific crash wiping out a server every so often and it piles the request onto the other machines. We have the fix in the lab and beating it up relentlessly so that we can get it out and improve the page load time.

2. Forum Preferences (for members only) up in the right corner of the page under Forum Tools ... scroll down to uncheck the box Display "Social Bookmark Links:" to hide the lucky charm icons, etc.

3. Look right "Ask the Community" shows recent questions related to the discussion you are in that are awaiting answers over in Edmunds' Answers

Changing the country flag in preferences has no effect for me.

What is a "social bookmark"?

Country flag option is an old item that we still need to take out of preferences (we used to allow people to show a country flag next to the username)

Social bookmark - see the little icons under my post? They allow you to save the URL to the post on other sites where you may keep a collection of favorite/helpful URLs to share with others.
