Next time try shutting your browser down (IE I'm guessing) and then go back to your CarSpace link. That's happened to me a few times lately, along with some spontaneous closing of my browser just in general (I lost a brilliant post that way today ). I don't dump cookies or the cache, but restarting IE lets CarSpace load. I can open it fine in Firefox when IE hangs on me. Go figure.

No, it is Firefox. I expect it could be the browser, since it is up/open for days or weeks at a time with at least 12 tabs at any given time. But, since I am not ready to lose my tabs just yet, Car Space will have to wait a couple weeks.

Well, it wouldn't load for me last night in Firefox either so I rebooted the whole computer. That fixed it.
 
Only 12 tabs? Piker - you need another monitor or two .

I bet it is perfect. I have 8" of grey space on the right side of my monitor while visiting this site. It is highly annoying; apparently it was too much to ask when I requested that they consider a "center" format for the Edmunds websites. I am not sure why, considering it would make no difference at all for a screen-filling set up like yours and be a positive change for wider screens.
 
I have grown used to it though, kinked neck and all.

Hopefully I can help shed some light on these two issues:
 
"Catch Up" - interesting that this is still happening for some members. There is code being committed for April that will likely address this issue. If not, we will investigate further.
 
Authentication - 'clearly logged in' - if you could help define this, that would be great. The Welcome in the upper right corner is a name cookie and not an authentication cookie. When you click community on Edmunds.com and land at CarSpace - do you see the login fields on the right or are you logged in and do you see a My CarSpace in the secondary nav on the far left under the tabs in the header? My CarSpace will only appear if you are logged in and the sign-in fields should not be present (and when you are clicking on Community from Edmunds.com are you coming back with the remember me/autologin cookie on?)
 
If you are truly logged in and get to the Forums page and do not see the My Tracked Items box and no My CarSpace in the secondary nav - yes, definitely want to know about that
 
We are revising authentication between Edmunds.com=CarSpace.com in mid-March so if anything, these 'drops' should disappear by 3/20. But do keep sending the details info as you have it as it helps with the testing and prep.
