They are tuning the server and keep restarting it. It is 5 seconds but logs you out on the message board side (outside of edmunds,com servers). When you get thrown back to the Town Hall front page (edmunds.com side) you are still logged in as the cookie gets picked back up. This should settle down tonight.   Sorry for the hassle!

Even without the placemarks I'll still be coming here to read the posts because this is where so many of my questions and concerns have been answered concerning the purchase and maintenance of my car. I've found out about so many things I would not have even heard of had it not been for this forum.   It's not all the little features that make the Townhall worth coming to, but rather the enormous amount of information that can be provided by such a gathering of folks from all over the world. This is why I came to the edmunds.com Townhall and this is why I will be coming back.

If I do a Board Search right below "Welcome mdx1" from the Town Hall home page, say MDX, and select one of on the list. I will not be able to post. It will show the infamous message:   To post a message, you must first Login.   If I select a message board from the box "Message Boards" and then select a discussion, I can post.   This bug is recreatable every time.

Sylvia,   I know I can add new words under my preferences. What I'd like to see is what normal word processor does, letting me add unrecognized words right from the spelling checker. Can it be done?   Thanks, Nelson

Interesting...I see Edit and Delete buttons for posts I made in this discussion group. But I only see the Delete button in another discussion group I just posted tonight (ACURA MDX - Part V).
