I come to Edmunds with an autologon link in IE6 and I get a page with green headers and no way to navigate. Evenutually I ended up with a page with a logon menu. The nagivation menu on http://www.carspace.com/csGroups is not present anymore.

Some more information would be helpful. Are you accessing through a bookmark? Is auto-login enabled? And what browser and its version are you using? Thanks!

Replying to: KarenS (Feb 15, 2008 10:23 am) Other computer access through bookmarked ...carspace/csgroups gives the page with no ability to read new posts or view the watched items, etc. That occurs even though in the very top edge of the screen it has my user name and a button each for sign in and join. I can go to Home and then I have at the very top of the screen a carspace choice. If I come back to carspace I have the most visited groups list showing and I can click on those and get going. When I come back there's a sign-in menu even though I'm listed at the top left of the screen as imidazol97. Signing in just results in another sign-in menu. Going to the group links lets me be recognized and I go from there. |

should post the exact bookmark you are using and the exact error you get when you use that bookmark along with the browser and version. If it's not a bookmark giving you an error, please post the exact URL that gave you the error (along with the exact error message, browser, version, etc.). The problems you are having are not universal, so that makes them a little harder to solve and makes specific reporting very important in order to track them down. |

Ok, I have a few questions about the ANSWERS site. I looked all over but couldn't find anything to answer my questions. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Anyone know how the points thing works? Yes, I know I am vain and want to know how it works. My points for some reason, raise, then drop, then start back up again. Don't like that. Just confused about how it's supposed to work. The other question, the navigation is a bit confusing to me. I know that I should have no trouble locating what I am looking for, but I like to keep tabs on certain questions and I can't seem to be able to easily locate some of them. I eventually do, but is there some way to "mark" them, like we can with the forum posts? Not sure of what I am having troubles with when I try locating them. I think it is the answered, unanswered and that. And who is supposed to vote on the answers? The original poster, other visitors or what? oh, about the database updating at 8:20pm Pacific time, might not be that great an idea for that time. Makes it a little aggravating for us West Coasters.
