OK - a few updates for you. The issue of the text flowing under the right ad panel for those who increase the font size has been resolved (for the most part). There are going to be cases where our fixes won't apply. Those cases are - people pasting in long URLs (please use the URL feature under the post box to create a link) and when people post extremely large photos calling them in with img src tags. In those cases the screen will draw wide. However, those episodes do not impact every page. The fix covers users who increase the font to "Largest" in IE and 2x in FireFox.

If you scroll down the page on the left you will see that "oops" there is a Consumer Ratings & Review bar appearing in the Helpful Links box. It certainly doesn't belong there - but when it shows up it shoves the page to the right. So - yuck - but not the ad panel on the right is not to blame. When you see this - please do post in here with the title of the discussion and we'll take care of it. While we rolled in something that caught most of these today, it looks like one or two are still slipping in. Thanks for reporting this. |

It's fixed for me on every page I've visited except the Message Center...there the video panel still covers up the number of new messages for each forum... Again, thanks. It was really frustrating not to be able to read some of the very best stuff out there on the web about cars, driving and the people who love both.

o.k...don't know what you did but it works for me. The right ad panel is now out of sight...and mind. No bottom of screem scroll bar needed. But, agree with Blaaanne. You guys seem to be squeezing the forums screen width more and more with whatnots and whywhosits.

You don't have ads in between messages and if you notice - if you are a member you don't get a square ad in the top of a discussion when you are signed-in. Guests - well, they get that. So, there is a team of us looking out for you. As always, your input is appreciated. |

The reading experience is better here than most other places. Only suggestion I can make is to add the link for "Read Subsciptions" at the top of the page of messages right next to Mark As Read | Unsubscribe | Bookmark | Outline Sometimes I just want to skip a discussion when it's become boring or contentious. I have to go to the bottom or find the Read Subscriptions on the left side window.
