| Any idea what's a reasonable cost to replace 95 Maxima clutch? Local Nissan dealership is asking for $925. The car has about 109K miles. Thanks. | |

I am looking at buying a used 2001 (3.0 L) versus 2002 (3.5L) but I am concerned with 2 things: 1. do both 2001 & 2002 require premium gas? 2. in real world, how does mpg compare between the two engines both with auto (would love the 5sp but wife is does want to mess with clutch)? any info helpful...

Replying to: godaddy1 (Nov 27, 2006 7:08 pm) 2. For my '01 I get 27 mpg highway, 23-24 city -- down to 22 in the winter. The '01 is so smooth and powerful, I can't imagine why one would need even more!
