Sometimes more isn't better. |

| Foe years of Mercedes ownership I've thought of the brand primarily in terms of quality, engineering and technology. I know there have been ups and downs in quality over the past few years...but am I the only one who is wondering what in the world the current "I Love You, I Love You..." series of TV ads is trying to sell? Some blissful woman laying in a pile of rose petals on the hood of her E? Absolutely pointless. Agree? | |

| I'm looking into the purchase of a used E320 or E430 for my son and i was wondering what was the best model year for an e class for below 15,000 dollars. Any advice would be appreciated | |

| Do not believe that it is fair to paint all 211's as unreliable. Have an early 2005 E320CDI with all extras that were available at the time. ---$15,000 worth. Car is now 3 yrs old with No problems. Agree that 2003's were a big problem and some 2004's. My son has a 2006 E350 that is now 2 yrs old and has many option--including air suspension and no problems. Between the 2 of us we have had 24 MB's so believe we can make a fair judgement.Believe that the turning point was the 2005 models | |
